Sal Perez has quietly carved out a really nice career.

Got 2 back and then Liberatore throws a middle middle changeup to Perez that he hits out. Mathew not looking good at all. I repeat this many times, but I really only like Liberatore in the 6 out max role.

That Massey kid looks a lot like Siani. They could be brothers.

I guess Libby only did get 5 outs. But he was in 3-5 inning mode where he wasn’t maxing out everything.

Yep. The Royals have put together a nice team. Been a slow rebuild since they won in 2015.

I wish baseball did more of a revenue sharing platform. The luxury tax does not really get there. Plus it incentivizes being cheap.

Would be nice to get the smaller market teams on a more level playing field with the big boys.

Yeah, but he’s still an upstart, JJ, and he’ll never see the type of glitz and glory playing in western Mo. as he would if he were playing in…Oakland?

Baseball is over the top unfair in so many ways. But it survives because it has by far the greatest amount of pure luck.

We all knew KC was a better than worthy opponent, but I was hoping for at least a split of these two games.

It’s only 2 games, but from what I’ve seen, this Royals team keeps coming after you almost like a batch of unwanted robocalls…They’re a bit relentless.
