Of the 14 teams that have their bench hitting stats up so far tonight the Cardinals are the only team with all players below .200. Cinci has one above .200 and the other 12 have 2 or more.
July 2, 2024 at 6:19 pm #258616I like those Pirate’s home uniforms. You can’t hardly go wrong with the black and gold. I always liked the Steelers uniforms too.
July 2, 2024 at 6:22 pm #258617That’s what I’m talking about…Burleson flexing the muscle with the no doubter 2 run tater!
July 2, 2024 at 6:22 pm #258618
jj-cf-stlParticipantThere’s a crooked number!
July 2, 2024 at 6:41 pm #258619
jj-cf-stlParticipantAnd another. Lefties thumping.
July 2, 2024 at 6:45 pm #258621Just tuned in to see Burly and Gorman with HRs. Hopefully that grand slam gets Gorman’s confidence up.
July 2, 2024 at 6:47 pm #258622Gorman simply stuck his bat out and went oppo to the deepest part of the OF for the GS tater. On the off chance he makes contact, his bat generates a different sort of power that’s rarely seen.
July 2, 2024 at 6:49 pm #258623Home runs are good. Our first grand salami of the season.
July 2, 2024 at 6:51 pm #258624
jj-cf-stlParticipantGibsons club option for next season, is looking club friendly, to date.
July 2, 2024 at 6:53 pm #258625What a performance thus far by Gibson! Pirates helping him some by swinging at pitches headed outside. He’s piling up the strikeouts. A 6 run lead is an extreme rarity this season.
July 2, 2024 at 6:59 pm #258626With the GS Gorman ties for the team lead in RBI’s as he’s pushed 41 across despite a .190 BA…Haha! Hook that up with his 110 K’s and that’s an odd trio.
July 2, 2024 at 7:08 pm #258627
jj-cf-stlParticipantFigures. Compliment turns into a 3run jack.
July 2, 2024 at 7:08 pm #258628It’s never easy.
July 2, 2024 at 7:10 pm #258629After the GS Chip said the game was “blown wide open.” No baseball game has ever been blown wide open in the 4th…
July 2, 2024 at 7:10 pm #258630
jj-cf-stlParticipantDrive in four, give up four.
July 2, 2024 at 7:21 pm #258631
jj-cf-stlParticipantThe positive is Gibson went 5 IP. Four strong IP and evidently ran out of gas. With his recent short starts that likely played in, but there’s 5 to build off.
His early K results were very good.
July 2, 2024 at 7:22 pm #258632It’s a shame to have to give it to the BP after 79 pitches, but it was time.
July 2, 2024 at 7:25 pm #258634
jj-cf-stlParticipant7-3 homestand. That was enjoyable, still!
July 2, 2024 at 7:26 pm #258635He’s getting fancy now and hands it to Fernandez.
July 2, 2024 at 7:34 pm #258636That’s a feel good run right there.
July 2, 2024 at 7:35 pm #258637
jj-cf-stlParticipantPair of doubles from a righty bat is a good game. Lefty drives him in.
July 2, 2024 at 7:49 pm #258638Winn slaps it to the other side as good as any Cardinal I’ve seen in a while. Renteria?
July 2, 2024 at 7:50 pm #258639
jj-cf-stlParticipant7-4 stl, mid eigth
July 2, 2024 at 7:52 pm #258640
jj-cf-stlParticipantYadi too.
Alberts’s target line was R-CF 👀July 2, 2024 at 7:54 pm #258641Yeah, Molina placed it into RF as good as anyone. Albert never slapped anything. His oppos were missles either over or off the RF wall…Haha!
