…day baseball in Wrigley and reminiscing about Brock-for-Broglio is pretty cool. I tell ya, being an old guy now and thinking back, sometimes I wish I could relive those days – collecting cards, playing little league, and all that. Really special times.

I can still smell that gum and your nickname reminded me of the days when we would ride our bikes in the blistering heat of summer vacation while barefooted, no shirt and wearing cutoffs. If they saw you doing that today, the state would charge our parents with neglect…Haha!

If Pallante goes 5 and it’s tied, how do we line up the pen? I assume Fernandez is not available. Helsley might not be available and probably shouldn’t pitch.

King, Liberatore, Leahy, Kittredge, Romero, and Roycroft are the other 6.

Wow. Pallante doesn’t get the called third strike on a pitch close to down the middle.

And then they lose the double play because the shortstop moved to cover the runner going on 3-2. Ugh.

Looks quick by Oli. Must be in a hurry to use the pen.

Pallante then gets a strikeout and Roycroft coming in. Seems a bit early. It isn’t like Pallante is struggling at all. Two groundball singles this inning with one that normally would have gone for a DP.

And Roycroft immediately gives up a hit on a pitch down the middle on basically an error by Roycroft.

Suzuki did a great job going to third on the previous play allowing him to score on another slow dribbler.
