Yeah Bikemike, there are advantages to listening to a ballgame, or other sorts of programming, on the radio as opposed to watching on TV. When I was a kid, a radio played nearly constantly in my mom or grandma’s kitchen, dad’s garage, or out in the screen porch, patio, or yard. It certainly afforded more freedom of movement as you weren’t glued to a visual image. At any rate, my grandparents introduced my brother and I to many funny radio shows. One in particular that I recall was, “The 2000 Year Old Man” with C. Reiner and M. Brooks. We thought that was the funniest thing since the monkey show at the zoo…Haha!

I feel like we have watched more players in the opposing team get hurt by foul tips and lime drives back the pitcher than I can recall seeing in the last 2 weeks than months of other seasons

Well what a sequence of events to tie the game. Lynn may not be out there for the 5th

Yeah Albert, those line drive comebackers towards the mound aren’t for the faint of heart

Yeah 1TD Lynn was getting hit hard there. I hope to see someone else out there in the 5th.

A 4-0 lead turns into a have to come from behind to win game.

What a revolting turn of events this is. Sounds like Arenado almost had one. Rooney was getting excited on the call but Doyle caught it at the fence.

A 4 inning start. Grrrr. Another infield error. Grrrr.

Pugs’ advice to bet the house on St. Louis in this one has some loyal followers shaking in the their Crocs.

Never wrong on those guaranteed winners, BicycleMike. No way that we don’t come back and win. I’ve already put this one in the St. Louis win column.

Any man that bets the house on baseball will sleep without a roof.

Ha 1TD you could also lose a job like Marcano. A few guys got 1 year bans for betting less than $1000 as well. What a stupid move as some of them cost themselves a million bucks for the next year

I do wish Carlson would give hitting RH exclusively a try

Well that is nice to see Carlson with a hit and RBI. I hope he can find something to give him some momentum and pick it up.

He’s been swinging the bat better lately. Just hasn’t gotten the results.

If we were playing in some parks, we’d have 2 home runs tonight. But many times that works in our favor. Just not tonight.

I know Carlson has looked horrible. I could obviously be wrong, But I think we need to roll him out there and let him get right. It’s possible, even likely, he comes around. It’s not possible or likely for Siani to do anything but play aaa or be a 4th outfielder as soon as someone gets healthy or Scott developes.

This ump has at least been consistent, but wow he really has a wide zone and those outside pitches are unhittable

Best I can tell, that was Carlson’s first RBI since Aug 6th of 2023. The drought covered the course of 70 PA’s. I’ll bet he’s glad that’s over.

Great AB by Gorman to get a walk, a bloop by Herrera, and a clutch line drive by Donovan!

Siani got in there to score the lead run, but a real nice throw from CF made it close and made me nervous…Haha!

Carlson tacking on 2 more RBIs! It is really good to see him showing some energy and excitement.
