Lynn’s never had a losing season in his 13 year career and has worked almost 1800 IP’ed with basically one pitch…A fastball. He reaches back and challenges the hitter. It’s what he’s always done.
May 15, 2024 at 9:57 pm #252369Wish I had seen that, Euro. And it’s Robertson that gets the 6th inning call for St. Louis.
May 15, 2024 at 10:00 pm #252370Welp, shoulda milked Lynn for 150 pitches, like Jnevel wanted.
May 15, 2024 at 10:00 pm #252371Robertson fooling nobody, as Moniak just missed homering to center to leadoff and the next batter Neto does eclipse the outfield wall…..5-1 LA.
May 15, 2024 at 10:04 pm #252372Robertson gets touched up for just the one 6th inning tally. Only 5-1 with 3 innings to go…..we can do this.
May 15, 2024 at 10:08 pm #252373Matthew Cody Moore the new Angel hurler here in the 7th.
May 15, 2024 at 10:19 pm #252374Watching Siani swing the bat…..he’s going to homer one of these days. Moore whiffs him this time after a prolonged battle and the Cardinals do not score once again, as walks to Carpenter and Nooty is all we can muster. Well, we have two more shots at these guys….let’s make them good ones.
May 15, 2024 at 10:24 pm #252375Ward tattoos a long one to left and Robertson has not done a very good job of keeping this game within a reasonable range for a comeback.
May 15, 2024 at 10:30 pm #252376A Moniak base hit to left plates another, making this a very difficult task to gain victory. Robertson gets the hook with 2 out in the bottom of the 7th with LA on top 7-1. Zach “Shark” Neto grounds out to Arenado at 3rd to end the inning.
May 15, 2024 at 10:38 pm #252377Babe Burly is just raking! Another line shot double with one out here in the 8th. Seven more just like it and we’re in business.
May 15, 2024 at 10:40 pm #252378Anybody else here? Not a fun game….looks like the natives got restless and retired.
May 15, 2024 at 10:45 pm #252379Still watching. Haven’t dozed off yet. Burleson scored on Donovan’s hit.
May 15, 2024 at 10:55 pm #252380What kind of odds would you give us for scoring 5+ 9th inning runs, Euro? Stranger things have certainly happened. Would love for Bling, Jnevel, LACardFan, JJ , TD & company to wake up tomorrow morning to the news of a magnificent Redbird comeback victory. First off, Roycroft needs to keep matters as they are here in the bottom of the 8th.
May 16, 2024 at 11:14 am #252402Ha Pugs! I must’ve dozed off before your last post.
May 16, 2024 at 1:37 pm #252409Looks like Scotty has a pretty good diet going on. I would go ahead and reward yourself by having your regular pizza on Friday, Scotty. I’m a firm believer that a person attempting to lose weight should have that one day every week where they can eat whatever they want.
I like that idea Pugs. Six days on and one day off.

jj-cf-stlParticipantWe picked up the radio broadcast when we could while traveling. Granddaughters 6yr old softball game last night looked like pure chaos, both teams. The adults on the field might as well have been trying to herd cats! Really fun watching their futility 🙂
So, I see the GT produced an L. We’ll talk later. I leave you with a 2game W streak and this happens…
I read Pugs play-by-play, which again was top shelf. But about that “L”, its gotta go.
May 16, 2024 at 1:54 pm #252413Well I missed this one as the high school award deal went way longer than I thought it would. Didn’t think we would win anyway as I have no confidence in this club’s ability to take the next step.
But the story is the local nine. The Rox have almost doubled their win total in the last week. 7 in a row, with former Cardinal Austin Gomber going six scoreless yesterday, giving up only two hits.
May 16, 2024 at 2:05 pm #252415Yeah, a couple more W’s in a row and they’ll be comparing this year’s team to the Rox of Sept. of ’07…
