Rich and Charlie’s. Best salad in town. Italian bread and butter. Pasta con 🥦 broccoli. My wife picks out most of the broccoli I get the pasta con. Arnold Palmer half lemonade half iced tea.

I fear Moniak in this particular game. Lance needs to pitch him very carefully. Basic but very delicious din-dins from both TD and Bling this evening…..and KeepComingBack weighs in with a doozy of a din-din! I’m stealing one of you guys’ Wednesday night din-dins for tomorrow night. Game on…..let’s get the sweep.

What are the odds the Cardinals sweep a series? It’s got to be higher than 0% chance, right?

The offense has looked vastly improved over the past 10 days. Some of those days were losses, but you could still see life. That still is only 10th best offense in MLB over that period of time, but hey, you’ve got to start somewhere.

Din din for me was vegan jambalaya, sauteed zucchini, bok choy, with a protein bar and pistachios for desert. I’ve been eating healthier and healthier over time and as you learn to cook it and get the grease out of your system you start to enjoy it. At least I did. My wife and I try to have at least one vegetarian meal and week and that was it tonight.

Noot with the double. Statcast released new batter metrics and one of them was squared up rate. Arraez was number 1 by a lot. On the Cards Donovan and Nootbar were at the top with Noot also having above average bat speed.

That’s textbook Ewell Gibbons eating, Albert. I’m not sure I could ever maintain such a clean diet. You’ll live to 100, Albert.

    Yeah, I don’t think LL’s ever considered a diet like Albert’s…Haha!

Well, that didn’t take long…Lance serves up the tater.

Schanuel with a leadoff dinger…..not the ideal start for Lance. Wonder how many leadoff taters LL has surrendered in his career? That’s a question that should probably be posed to our good friend Skippy and all of the fine folk over at the esteemed Elias Sports Bureau.

Haha we still have chest nights every now and again. Typically Mexican food as it is so delicious.

Well the bats will be needed if we want to get a sweep. Maybe Lynn can get some quick innings later too to try and get through at least 5

I wonder when was the last time our Birds gave up 4 1st inning runs and then came back to win? Bet it’s been at least 10 years.

Well Pugs, 2 days ago we gave up 4 3rd inning runs and were down by 4 and came back and won.

Burly singles….then a slight outfield bobble persuaded him to seek further advancement and is thrown out at 2nd. Burly beat the throw, but couldn’t stay on the base.

Good info, Jnevel, but there’s something almost psychologically insurmountable about going down by 4+ runs in the very 1st inning…..very difficult to overcome. I can’t recall us winning a game such as this over the past decade.

No way Lance ate his Wheaties today. He won’t be around much longer at this pace.

Lance sure had a better 2nd inning than a 1st. Your basic garden variety 7-3 twin killing to end the inning. Still 4-0 Los Angeles heading to the 3rd.

“What a throw Burleson” Now Burly does have an arm, but he lopped that one in there lol. Any throw to the bag gets Paris. Not sure what he was doing.

Let’s just get 2 this inning…..then I’ll feel much better about things.

What was Carp swinging at??? That was so low Tiger Woods in his prime couldn’t have reached it.

Cy Canning continues his mastery over us as he sets us down 1-2-3 in the 3rd.

I bet Angels skipper Ron Washington still sees red after the way our Cardinals came back to beat his Rangers in the ’11 world series.

Heck of a play in LF by Burleson, but it looks like he may have put a dent in his rib cage. Hope he’s okay.
