Herrera wants to play every day.

Contreras may catch less than we expected. Herrera just keeps driving the ball.

That Herrera kid may turn out to be a pretty good ball player for us. He’s teeing off lately.

Tie ballgame. Nola hasn’t been too sharp but he’s been bailed out on some free swinging at times by Cardinals.

Per John Denton Tommy cleared to start swinging. Could be 2 weeks.

Burly starting to hit. Maybe there should be a thread about it.

I’ve noticed Herrera almost always goes up to the pitcher, does a fist pound or butt smack and says good job or something. I love that.

His glove and bat have impressed me so far to say the least.

I like them both, but I don’t see Goldy and Contreras both on the 2025 team.

    Pallante pulled. That was ugly.

Pallante practically waving the runners around the bases there. Talk about ruining a game quickly.

Where did his FB velocity go? He’s down almost 3.5 MPH from last year, barely averaging 90 MPH. Worth monitoring as this is now a multi-game trend.

Scott may have earned his demotion today.

It’d be a shame to stand in the rain for 3 hours and lose this game. Need a couple of runs.

That leadoff single sounded good off Burly’s bat. Siani pinch runs.

Winn flies out and Walker bounces into a DP.

    4-3 Philadelphia the final.

    Off to Arizona…….

For a guy who’s getting long in the tooth and looks like he should lay off the Bavarian Bizmarks, you have to acknowledge that LL battles when he takes his turn.

Tough game for Scott. That little turn at first did not look like it was enough to call him out. He just turned around and walked back to the base. Is that all you have to do? I thought you had to make an effort to go to second. All he did was turn around, but turn to his left rather than right. He made no step towards second or anything like that.

If Noot is back Friday, I would play him in center until Carlson is ready.
