The infieldrs hit Abbott well, and Donny. CF is the decision I’m watching for.

Noot doesn’t look full strength. I’d sit Noot and Burly. Scott in CF, Pham in RF, Contreras as DH and catch Pages.

It seems hard to believe, but this season, the Cards have a better record against LHP than RHP.

    RHP: 41-42
    LHP: 19-16

However, their batting line is a different story.

    vs. RHP: .719 OPS
    vs. LHP: .655 OPS

It makes as much sense as our w-l record vs our run differential.

Will Walker be in the lineup tonight against a lefty. His splits aren’t good vs. lefties for some reason.

Yeah, .682 OPS at Triple A…but he has been hot lately.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Pham in LF and Walker in RF against the lefty as both Noot & Burleson have been absolutely putrid vs lefties in 2024.

I like it…which means they’ll probably have 3 hits and no runs.

If I was a betting man, I’d put good cash money on Walker never playing another game in the minors…..other than any possible rehab stints. He’s here to stay, gang.

Burly, Gorman and Noot avoid the lefty. Donny leads the club in LH vs LH matchups by 21 PA’s.

The Doyers just DFA’d Amed Rosario. I don’t suppose we would have any interest? Especially now that we already have Pham.

Im exited to see Walker again. I’m not sure it’s the best thing for him, but on the other hand, I’m sure he’s glad to be back.

I would have flipped Pham and Contreras in that other.

Would love to see Junior go all “Pham” on us and hit a grand slam in his first AB, or even in his first game.

I wasn’t going to complain on a night we should be celebrating Walker, Mike. But we have a singles hitter @ cleanup. That’s where the problems with the lineup start. Flip Conteras and Atenado.

What a difference Walker could have on this roster if he would become the player many fans thought he could be.

If Arenado and Goldschmidt had not faded so badly, if Matz weren’t Matz, if Walker had not forgotten how to hit, If the Cardinals had acquired a real #2 SP to pair with Gray in the off season,

As my old man used to tell me, “If the rabbit hadn’t stopped to s**t, he would have won the race.”

Well, I was wrong about being able to watch all the games on Extra Innings again.

Since Xfinity cut its new deal with Bally; all the Bally’s channels – that I used to get with the current subscription level – got moved to the next higher subscription level.

Because tonight’s game is in Cincinnati and is being shown on Bally’s Sports Southeast it is blacked out on Extra Innings (I don’t really understand why) so I cannot get any games that are shown on Bally Sports Southeast.

I think the whole set up is pretty crooked and I’m pretty damned sick of it.

This team is the most inept I have ever seen with runners in scoring position! At this point you know what’s coming before it even happens!

Steve, did you foresee Arenado’s base hit before it happened?
