6:15 p.m. RHP Jack Flaherty (4-3, 3.77) vs. LHP José Quintana (4-4, 3.73) FOX // KMOX // WIJR
June 1, 2019 at 1:59 pm #92547We need some more breaks from the umps in this one too.
June 1, 2019 at 2:14 pm #92550We got just as many bad calls as the Cubs did last night. The umps didn’t lose the game for them despite what their “entitled and spoiled” fans think. :o)
June 1, 2019 at 2:25 pm #92553Here is tonight's #Cubs starting lineup.

stlcard25ParticipantWe could really use Jack on his A game tonight. I’m thinking 7+ innings, a few scattered hits and 10+ Ks. If anyone on this staff can do it, it’s Mr Flaherty. But the bats have to give him some support as well.
June 1, 2019 at 4:45 pm #92560Baez scratched with a recurring heel injury. Russell starting instead.
New lineup: Schwarber, Bryant, Rizzo, Contreras, Heyward, Russell SS, Bote, Almora Jr. , Quintana

June 1, 2019 at 6:57 pm #92565Three solo homers and the Cubs are up 2-1 after two innings. Rizzo, Goldschmidt, Heyward.
June 1, 2019 at 7:28 pm #92566We’re tied, Jack needs to keep the ball in the park
June 1, 2019 at 7:32 pm #92567Quick 1-2-3. Good pitching, now let’s take the lead,
June 1, 2019 at 7:41 pm #92568I foresee a big inning this game but it may come later against the bullpen.
June 1, 2019 at 7:41 pm #92569Hopefully the rain stays away…
June 1, 2019 at 7:49 pm #92570I think in a perfect world, the rain delay last just until the Blues game is over.
June 1, 2019 at 9:03 pm #92571Dave….Brian….stlcard25….good evening gentlemen. Anyone know if we’ll be playing any ball this evening? As our esteemed new friend, Dave, eluded to, if ever there might be a lengthy rain delay, tonight would be the night. Blues winning?
June 1, 2019 at 9:50 pm #92573Geeesh…..this place is dead. Looks like this baby is washed out.
June 1, 2019 at 10:39 pm #92574Yahoo/MLB says game will start again at 11:00 St. Louis time, or thereabouts.

June 1, 2019 at 11:07 pm #9257511pm? Brian and about 50 other hardy souls may be the only ones in attendance. What a beautiful opportunity to snag a foul ball….which brings up a slight issue. By next year when the netting will be extended to the foul poles, that’s going to result in almost zero foul ball opportunities. MLB should save themselves some nice $……like they need it.
Watching a lot of “Cannon” tonight, Rat?
June 1, 2019 at 11:07 pm #92576Slight change of plans. Weather permitting, we expect to resume tonight's game at 11:20 pm CT. https://t.co/mFQjBcOKmu

June 1, 2019 at 11:20 pm #92577Sweet! Looks like its just me, Euro and Rat. Our new friend Dave must be counting sheep…..rookies!
June 1, 2019 at 11:23 pm #92578Gyorko fouls out to get us back to action, pinch hitting for Flaherty to lead off the 5th for the Cards.
June 1, 2019 at 11:33 pm #92579My local Fox affiliate is not showing the game now that it has resumed. What channel are you guys watching on?
June 1, 2019 at 11:46 pm #92580Wieters puts the Cards up 3-2 with double, driving in Ozuna who had singled. Chatwood in for the cubs.
June 1, 2019 at 11:47 pm #92581I’m streaming the game on reddit
June 1, 2019 at 11:48 pm #92582Nothing like a 3 hour rain delay to get our offense going.
June 1, 2019 at 11:50 pm #92583I’m watching on my MLB Extra Innings package.
Fowler singles to drive in Wieters, now 4-2.
June 1, 2019 at 11:54 pm #92584Dave is on to something about the delay. Wong doubles to drive in Fowler, now 5-2. Cards feasting on Chatwood.
