Great. Maybe the Cardinals the will get a chance to hit tonight before calling the game.

Wong breaks up the no hitter in the top of the first!

Wong and Goldy with back to back base hits. Let’s get it rolling here!

Not wonderful base running there by Goldy. Costs the chance for the sac fly run. Maybe Dejong can come through.

Nope. That would have scored a run too…but in the end is an inning ending fly out.

Bush league baseball right there…three seeing eye singles and then a bad catch sets the Rockies up with a run and two in scoring position. Mikolas has been mediocre this year.

Tough error on Bader. If were the official scorer, the guy that gave it a half ass attempt would be the one with the E. Dejong should have caught that.

And yes Miles is a shell of what he was last year.

They did things right. We did things wrong. They scored. We didn’t. Don”t blame it on pitching.

Not an error on Wong, that ball should have been caught.

DeJong and Wong work well together—in the field.

I think wong should be able to get the ball to the first baseman. he had time to stop and just fire it over there.

Is there anyone else out there who watches the games on mlb.tv and really tired of the guy stealing the base on “statcast AI powered by AWS” commercial? I’ve probably watched that over 1,000 times in the last 4.5 months.

Yeah last year it was the same highlights from old mlb games over and over. Which was a little better

I remember that too GACard, but it wasn’t as annoying, for some reason this one just drives me nuts!

I am late to the party but I have always thought Verlander was a punk. I remember a couple of years ago when he and his girlfriend/wife started blasting people on Twitter because he didn’t win the cy young. What a jerk.

Fowler with a bomb to put us on top 6-5. Come on bullpen close this out. We could be headed for another CMart maylox finish.

Like how the hitters are battling. Got Mikolas off the hook.

Anyone know what the mark on Yadi’s face is? Looks like he got punched.

Martinez was throwing strikes. Then nine straight balls. Two walks, one out.

Martinez and the Cards escape with a 6-5 win. A half-game behind the Cubs. Game-winning blow by Fowler.

CMart always makes it interesting but he gets the job done tonight. Let’s keep the pressure on those Cubs. They are bound to lose a home game one of these years.
