Geesh Wong is fast!! Is there a team even remotely fast as our Cardinals??? Edman, Wong, Bader, O’Neill, Goldy. Yadi knocks our team speed rating down a good few notches, but still, this team as a whole, is faster than any of those Cardinal teams from the 70’s or 80’s. Dexter plates another run….2-0 Birds!

Red Robin-lots of fries. We had Popeyes tonight, didn’t wanna cook. Was gonna tell you those Olive Garden Cokes are probably so good cause they’re custom formula. Talked to a Coke delivery guy once and he told me they have a contract McDonalds for thier drinks. The Cokes are thier own formula, they also have to maintain thier freshness. Change out the product on a set schedule used or not. Maybe Olive Garden does the same thing. Anyway 2 runs in the 5th. Small ball powered by Wong, Molina and Fowler. Our end of the order lineup. Playin ball now!

DeJong with a dandy defensive play to keep the no-no intact with 2 outs in the 6th. Hopefully we’ll be seeing that on Sports Center later tonight in association with Hudson’s gem.

Very interesting Coca cola info, Wooster! Never knew that. It’ll be a crime if you didn’t partake in some red beans & rice and apple cinnamon pies at Popeyes tonight. I’ve always said that you can’t eat just one Popeyes apple cinnamon pie. Hudson no-no still a happening thing thru 6 frames now.

Pugs, was that a figure of speech or do you still really watch SportsCenter? I think it jumped the shark years ago. Studio talking heads who aren’t cool trying way too hard to be so.

Yeah it was a figure of speech as I haven’t checked out SportsCenter in quite a few years now, Brian. I had not realized that it’s ratings had tanked though.

DeJong blasts home run #22 way up into the left field rafters!!! No mates onboard at the time and the Birds now lead it 3-0…..listen to the crowd!

Looks like DeJong’s home run ball is nestled in the lights out there and has yet to be dislodged. Tell you what…..if I were in attendance this evening I would finally have my ball…and boy what a prize it would be….a DeJong bomb! I could die a happy camper.

I’ve always wondered why they don’t put a screen or plexiglass over the BIG MAC Land neon sign. Maybe better advertising this way as everyone will see the broken sign with the ball sitting there on the sports shows…

Love the red beans and rice, put em on my fries. Can’t get em anymore, tears up my stomach. The apple pies are really good too and even better w/vanilla ice cream. Hey just got an idea, buy the pies and drive over to MacJacs for a vanilla sundae! Sugar Shock!

Hudson has pitched very well tonight, with the main blemish being that he’s not getting a lot of quick outs. It’s too bad he wasn’t getting a few more grounders or he’d be able to stay in.

Red beans & rice over a bed of fries….vanilla ice cream over Popeyes apple pies….you should have been a chef, Wooster! You’re going to get me fat….fatter.

Yeah Brian, any idea how they are going to retrieve that DeJong ball from the Big Mac sign? I bet if I were a Cardinals ballboy that I still would never catch my foul ball…..that’s how bad my luck is when it comes to getting one.

It looks like Pugs and Wooster are doing the heavy lifting tonight. And Brian is dead on, I quit watching ESPN years ago unless it’s for a particular game / event. Most of their studio people are hard to suffer through.

Wife and I just got back from Carrabba’s. Had the Amore Monday (sausage and lentil soup, meatballs and ricotta, chicken marsala, and sauteed spinach). Now home drinking a glass of wine and enjoying the 3-run lead you guys have delivered.

Hudson being yanked now to a nice ovation. Evidently he was good.

Yes Shildt made the right call in taking Hudson out, but these combined no-no’s are like kissing your cousin….doesnt do a darn thing for you….unless you’re from the Louisiana bayou…..oops hope none of you are from that beautiful area.

Ah Carrabba, Euro! That’s quite the meal. As good as Wooster’s and my din-dins were tonight, I think you just one upped us.

Pugs we used to take the family to the local minor league games. The only one I actually caught was being half lit holding a big beer in one hand and sticking my other hand straight up.The ball just flew into my hand like it was just meant to be there. Didn’t even spill my beer. It was hilarious, a foul ball from God I guess.

Pugs, my guess is they have some kind of crane or scaffolding which enables the neon repair. The person who climbs it deserves to get the ball, too!

doesnt do a darn thing for you

Well, in this case I feel like it would at least get the Cards the win. That’s what I care about right now!
