Drey Jameson the new Diamondbacks hurler. Hopefully we can treat this fellow just as rudely as we did to their starter. Nootster stepping to the plate for the second time this inning…..wouldn’t that be something to see him 3 times this inning. Noot whacked it right on the button, but unfortunately right in the vicinity of their left fielder.
A win here elevates Pallante’s win total to 11, which if my calculations are correct, puts him smack dab at accruing 19 wins on the season.
Looks like Cardinal in France may be burning the midnight oil in the south of France this evening. What time is it there, CIF?

Geesh Walker is big in stature…..and now in baseball efficiency too. This walk to him here in the 6th can be Exhibit A as to his transformation from a year ago.

As soon as Pugs leaves, Pallante can’t get anyone out! It’s 7-1 with the bases jammed with Dbacks in the 6th before he finally records an out.
Not at all a good look from Fermin as that miscue out in LF makes it a 2 run lead and places this game up for grabs.
How go you get caught off base on that weak little broken bat pop nub job? In days of yore that would be a $2 fine…
