Yoga pants always help…
May 29, 2026 at 7:53 pm #308481The Sandberg Game. I think all of us over 50 remember where we were on that Saturday afternoon.
May 29, 2026 at 7:55 pm #308482The Cardinals look like they intend to win this baseball game and they just might do it…Still a ways to go.
May 29, 2026 at 7:56 pm #308483I like your enthusiasm TD!
May 29, 2026 at 7:58 pm #308484Need some big time insurance here in the 6th in a 5-4 St. Louis ballgame.
May 29, 2026 at 8:04 pm #308485Boy that shirtless bunch is growing leaps and bounds by the inning. If you were young and in great shape like we all here used to be many moons ago, what a great place it would be to pick up the chicks. Busch….baseball…..beer……brats….and babes…..now those are the real Killer B’s of the game.
May 29, 2026 at 8:08 pm #308486Sure do, Pugs. I was traveling for a contractor and working at what was then a Gulf owned refinery located in Pt. Arthur TX. Normally we were working 6 ten hr. days a week, but were off that Saturday due to the threat of lightning. I watched that baseball game with two coworkers at an eating and drinking establishment called, “May’s Fish Camp” which was frequented by lots of local rice farmers. They served up really good catfish, frog legs and boudain along with plenty of ice cold Lone Star beer.
May 29, 2026 at 8:08 pm #308487Pugs, there aren’t any women in that section for them to be picking up
May 29, 2026 at 8:10 pm #308488Maybe Pugs you can get lucky and some of the college girls will join the section in a bikini to help add a B(ikini) to your Killer B’s
May 29, 2026 at 8:11 pm #308489Romero Romero where art thou? He’s pitching the 7th and hopefully has brought his A game tonight.
May 29, 2026 at 8:16 pm #308490Haha! Great idea with the Bikini’s Albert. There may not be many ladies out there, but if Bling, TD and your’s truly were out there joining in with the shirtless bunch, the ladies would be flocking in our direction.
Nice Sandberg Game story, TD. Mine was drab….unlike the ballgame. I was at home watching it on tv and eating Cherrios with gobs of sugar on them.
May 29, 2026 at 8:23 pm #308491Haha! Did you see the Mad Hungarian?
May 29, 2026 at 8:27 pm #308492Any time you saw the baseball placed in Al’s left hand, you knew you that the price you’d paid for a seat was going to be worth every penny. He put on a first rate show.
May 29, 2026 at 8:29 pm #308493Stanek The Man! Nice 8th inning.
May 29, 2026 at 8:35 pm #308494The Sandberg game I missed entirely as my second child was born that day.
May 29, 2026 at 8:39 pm #308495He has a 42nd birthday coming up on June 23rd……..don’t forget, Bling. Maybe Cardinal tickets would be a great gift.
May 29, 2026 at 8:40 pm #308496Boy, it goes without saying that the 2 out RBI from Fermim was a crucial run to tack up on the board. Let’s get greedy.
May 29, 2026 at 8:41 pm #308497Nice getting some insurance vs Maton, who now gets lifter for Milner….not John.
May 29, 2026 at 8:42 pm #308498O’Brien will close this out for us. Thanks for the fun game thread TD, Bling and Albert!
May 29, 2026 at 8:44 pm #308499It’s never easy.
May 29, 2026 at 8:44 pm #308500Never easy . . .
May 29, 2026 at 8:45 pm #308501Thank you, Pugs…I love this tavern!
May 29, 2026 at 8:48 pm #308502The Bogsider from Derry’s getting hit hard both figuratively and literally.
May 29, 2026 at 8:50 pm #308503Awesome. Great win. Thank you Nelson Velasquez for hitting them in the mouth. Good work by the pen.
May 29, 2026 at 8:50 pm #308504Nice bounce back W against those Cubbies after a tough visit to MIL.
