Cardinals are trying to scratch and claw their way back into the game…3 run TATER from Walker!

Boy what happened. I took care of some things with Leahy cruising and come back and he has gave up 5. Did he lose command and start throwing meatballs?

I wonder how many HRs Walker would hit if he played half his games in a little league park like Cincy. He taps the ball and it flies off his bat.

Maybe it wouldn’t matter though since he hits absolute bombs when he hits a HR

One heck of an AB from Walker. Down 0-2, then scuffled to run it full and then, BAM!…He rips the 3 run HR to make it a 1 run baseball game.

Didn’t look like he tapped that 3-2 pitch, Albert. I’d have to guess that HR leaves any ballpark in the league.

Bling was spot on when he pointed out that Torres looks like Herrera standing in from the left side. Literally a mirror image,

Bruihl is wanting to make his best case the Cardinals should waive him instead of optioning Svanson. It likely is Svanson and it probably is the smart move but both have been so bad. No reason the team shouldn’t be able to develop middle relievers to take guys spots like them.

Bruihl being a lefty probably works in his favor, but that’s about all he’s been able to offer up at this point.

Precise perfect hit and run. I wish they’d flash that sign more often.

And Burleson a little weak popup to SS.

    Then Walker strikes out.

    Opportunity missed.

This one is going into the Lost column.

Gorman’s never going to stop chasing that pitch.

Well, the Cardinals have 3 more outs in their pocket with the 8 and 9 slots due up before the lineup turns over. Not too promising, but we’ll see what happens.

    6-4 heading to the 9th.

    See you all tomorrow.

Then again, the Indianapolis 500 is tomorrow so I will be flipping channels quite a bit.

    Haha…That’s a start! I hope that solo tater from Fermin ain’t a rally killer…

The greatest spectacle in racing is far from what it once was. Neither the race cars or the race drivers have been at all interesting for almost 20 years now. I cut my teeth on Unser, Foyt, Johncock, Andretti, Mears and countless other brickyard legends along with the Cosworths, March’s, Eagles, and Offy’s screaming around the Indy oval. Indy racing and just about all of the other competitive racing classes have simply lost their luster. I knew auto racing was in trouble when they started mentioning high speed EV’s. You simply have to have the overwhelmimg sound of a severely overpowered piston racing engine that’s spun up tighter than a banjo string to have genuine auto racing…

And Fenton Walker singles to left to knock in the tying run with two outs in the 9th!

    6-6 now!

With the new rules, how many times is a hitter allowed to stroll towards the dugout in order to tweak his bat?

Jo Jo has a pretty good move to 1B. Hopefully he can hold De La Cruz close. Oh…Pozo guns him down for the CS!

He was deader than yesterday. If they reverse this I’m going to say bad, bad words…
