I too think the player sutuation should remain the same for now.

Ironically, Moon turned out to be a pretty good player and I grew to like him – even his single dark eyebrow

I love a good childhood baseball story, Frenchy 😉 As to Moon, he was the 1st member of the monobrow club, followed by Andy Echeveran and Mike Shannon.

I would challenge anyone who heard Danke Schoen to try to not sing that song to themselves for at least 2 hours after hearing it

I’m sure Ferris Bueler agrees with you

And I agree with you that the Dodgers will stomp us tonite!

    Albert-

I’d think seriously about moving Victor down and Torres up. Victor clearly needs to work on his swing. Having a few weeks to see what Torres can do in the bigs might be prudent in case he is needed later. Couldn’t hurt the offense.

I’d leave Jordan at Memphis. I don’t think there’s be enough playing time at this point. Let him keep working on things every day.

There’s a lot of blue in the stands!

IMO it would be an unnecessary risk to swap out an everyday guy when the team is winning. The intangibles are unpredictable. Don’t mess with chemistry. Don’t fix what isn’t broke.

I dont mind this game being on fox. I always like to listen to smoltz. Like edmonds he will give lots of useful info nobody else does.

Man that was a fine bunt.

Weatherholt makes a fine play to double off the guy who just made a fine bunt.

It’s what we call “pub grub” night here – fish filets, fries and onion rings. Not the most healthy option but we will do this now and then. And being “pub grub”, what do you wash it down with? A cold, frosty one of course in my Cardinal beer glass I got at the team store when I was there in 2019.

Wow, another 3 spot in the first! Walker in double figures with 10 bombs.

Walker with the bomb after falling behind 0-2!

Dang, Gorman was taking a good at bat then K’d on a pitch in the dirt.

Love to see Walker in stride. Gorman is due for a hot streak, if we can get those two going it’ll be a really fun offense for a bit.

Mentioned this before but I would prefer Gorman at third and Pozo at DH than Urias at third and Gorman at DH.

Oops, make that the third for the three run inning.

JJ is pretty darn good over there at the second sack.

Don’t see too many games where both teams have the city name displayed on the uni.

Didn’t realize Wetherholt is only 5’9”. He looks like a 6 footer on TV.

I don’t think 3 is going to be enough.

Man, tough for hitters to beat out that throw to first on the attempted double play with Winn’s arm. He is such a key factor to our defense.

The middle infield defense is a delight to watch. Wetherholt and Winn have many more beautiful double plays to turn together.

Have we had a SP throw 7 IP this year? I’m really hoping to see a SP make it there on this long stretch to avoid taxing the pen. And I trust McGreevy much more to keep us ahead than the pen.

88 pitches for McGreegy and they have Ryne About to Blow the Lead Stanek warming in the pen. Ridiculous. Let the man pitch if he is doing well and still has arm strength left.

Single by Hernandez. Now we will probably see a couple walks, and a bases clearing double to tie it.

There’s the first walk right on queue.
