No, it’s Svanson. Let’s hope for limited drama. I’d ask for no drama, but that just seems unrealistic.
Svanson allows 1 on a single and a double. But we win 10-5. Fantastic sweep on the road vs a pretty good Pirate team. Great win over Skenes as well.
Cards get the 4 game sweep and are now 18-13. Not bad for our rebuilding Birds.
It should be an interesting weekend with the big bad Dodgers coming into town.
Skeenes has not had a lot of success against the Cardinals in his career, I believe that is now an 0-5 record
That would be a bit better than I prognosticated Bling . . . by 20 wins. And I think I was about the most optimistic of our bunch.
Checking the box score, I see that Pedro Pages is now batting .262. That puts him ahead of all but Burly and Walker of those in today’s lineup. That is another epic miss by me.
Good stuff to get the road sweep. The team is keeping their head above water, which has surprised me. The pitching isn’t very good and neither is the bottom half of the lineup, but they’re scoring enough to fill the win column.
