    I agree Ollie is obsessed with the “handedness” thing. It is an element of course, depending on the game situation, but it’s not an absolute.

    And I’m a believer in picking your starting lineup and sticking with it, unless strong circumstances dictate otherwise, especially given our bench.

    But the good game isn’t close to enough to convince me.

    I get your cautionary approach. I saw him during his end of the year cameo and the beginning of this year. There’s a reason Saggese was getting turns out there. The last 15 games have been torrid, and as you say his minor league stats show good bat to ball skills. So there’s reason to believe he can settle into a permanent role. No one expects him to continue his current pace. But Scott just isn’t cutting g it. When Noot returns we need him to be good enough to justify him taking Scott’s place in center.

    A lot went into losing this game Saturday. In the end, though, our late inning guys Romero and O’Brien both failed.
