ParticipantCan’t keep throwing center-center any pitch – keep the ball down with runners on base
July 6, 2025 at 7:40 pm #286619
jj-cf-stlParticipantAnother game decided the first hour. We can “go for it” tomorrow.
July 6, 2025 at 7:40 pm #286620You knew where this was headed when you saw Manny Motter ll in CF.
July 6, 2025 at 7:41 pm #286621We got the Cubs right where we want them now. Up 8-0. They have no chance.

ParticipantGood one 1TD – See Wild Man Sageese replacing Nacho tonight. That Hanson OF is really fast- can he hit? They’ll be rucoshaying in the Chicago pub tonight!
July 6, 2025 at 7:41 pm #286623Bloom is googling how to say a Hail Mary.
July 6, 2025 at 7:43 pm #286624Getting beat is a lot different than being embarrassed and humiliated.
July 6, 2025 at 7:44 pm #286625Hampson is really fast Wooster. And he’s a great fielder. But unfortunately, no, he cannot hit.
July 6, 2025 at 7:44 pm #286626I wonder what Bloom is thinking

Incredibly funny Bling.

jj-cf-stlParticipantLol
July 6, 2025 at 7:46 pm #286629Sending King in to put out a Fedde fire is the definition of adding fuel to the flame! Fedde Mikolas King all need to go ASAP! We have better options! Pathetic!
July 6, 2025 at 7:46 pm #286630BikeMike and I both called it.
A blowout.
And again, no runs.
Not one good hitter on this team.
A couple of above average ones and that’s about it.
July 6, 2025 at 7:47 pm #286631I can only speak for myself, but if I were a Big League SS who was wearing a microphone while manning up at my position during that last half inning, I’d have either kept my mouth shut or pulled the plug on the silly thing.

ParticipantDidn’t catch much what he said TD but he is pretty much a young guy. Hard to belueve that grounder hit past Sagesse made it all the way to the back wall untouched? Whars with that? Interviewing Ollie with lots of big words
July 6, 2025 at 8:08 pm #286633Now the Redbird manager gets to say things. I’ve always maintained that if he simply didn’t say things, that simple lack of action alone would add a couple of W’s by default.
July 6, 2025 at 8:15 pm #286634Yeah, Rats and I saw this coming. No doubt the Cubs are the likely NLC winner this year, and could be a force in post season if they can stay healthy.
Even with a couple of blow out losses, we will be 3-4 against these guys after the first 7. We are hanging in there in that regard. But clearly they are the superior ball club.
July 6, 2025 at 8:16 pm #286635Yeah, he’s a young guy, Wooster, but he’s 23 years old which qualifies for manhood. What I’m driving at is that his team is getting pummeled during the half inning in which he’s supposed to stand out there and talk. All he had to do was explain that he didn’t have time to talk while he was at work. I’m guessing that if he’d have responded with something along those lines, he’s have gained the respect of anyone who was listening in.
July 6, 2025 at 8:18 pm #286636Well, it’s now 11-0 and it’s only the 5th. I’m wondering if the Cubs will at some point attempt a SB…
July 6, 2025 at 8:24 pm #286637For those clamoring to sell Fedde at the deadline you might want to adjust your expectations on the return. It is looking like it will be a 12 pack of diet mountain dews and a player to be named later. That isn’t going to help the vaunted reset.
July 6, 2025 at 8:28 pm #286638We’ve struck out 9 times through 5.

I addressed this a few days ago. That would be a steal of a deal. Something to drink and a lotto ticket. In reality he should be DFA’d like Mikolas.

ParticipantBurly don’t get hurt for this game! Yeah I just looked over Feddes career. Not so good. MLB is definitely not Korean League caliber competition.Hope he can reverse his trend.
July 6, 2025 at 8:43 pm #286641So far, this season is playing out exactly as expected:
– The Cardinals are “close enough” to a wild card they probably won’t be sellers
– The Cardinals are not good enough to be buyers
– Fedde has destroyed his trade value, Helsley has hurt his -
