Can’t keep throwing center-center any pitch – keep the ball down with runners on base

We got the Cubs right where we want them now. Up 8-0. They have no chance.

Getting beat is a lot different than being embarrassed and humiliated.

Hampson is really fast Wooster. And he’s a great fielder. But unfortunately, no, he cannot hit.

Sending King in to put out a Fedde fire is the definition of adding fuel to the flame! Fedde Mikolas King all need to go ASAP! We have better options! Pathetic!

BikeMike and I both called it.

    A blowout.

    And again, no runs.

Not one good hitter on this team.

A couple of above average ones and that’s about it.

I can only speak for myself, but if I were a Big League SS who was wearing a microphone while manning up at my position during that last half inning, I’d have either kept my mouth shut or pulled the plug on the silly thing.

Didn’t catch much what he said TD but he is pretty much a young guy. Hard to belueve that grounder hit past Sagesse made it all the way to the back wall untouched? Whars with that? Interviewing Ollie with lots of big words

Now the Redbird manager gets to say things. I’ve always maintained that if he simply didn’t say things, that simple lack of action alone would add a couple of W’s by default.

Yeah, Rats and I saw this coming. No doubt the Cubs are the likely NLC winner this year, and could be a force in post season if they can stay healthy.

Even with a couple of blow out losses, we will be 3-4 against these guys after the first 7. We are hanging in there in that regard. But clearly they are the superior ball club.

Yeah, he’s a young guy, Wooster, but he’s 23 years old which qualifies for manhood. What I’m driving at is that his team is getting pummeled during the half inning in which he’s supposed to stand out there and talk. All he had to do was explain that he didn’t have time to talk while he was at work. I’m guessing that if he’d have responded with something along those lines, he’s have gained the respect of anyone who was listening in.

Well, it’s now 11-0 and it’s only the 5th. I’m wondering if the Cubs will at some point attempt a SB…

For those clamoring to sell Fedde at the deadline you might want to adjust your expectations on the return. It is looking like it will be a 12 pack of diet mountain dews and a player to be named later. That isn’t going to help the vaunted reset.

I addressed this a few days ago. That would be a steal of a deal. Something to drink and a lotto ticket. In reality he should be DFA’d like Mikolas.

Burly don’t get hurt for this game! Yeah I just looked over Feddes career. Not so good. MLB is definitely not Korean League caliber competition.Hope he can reverse his trend.

So far, this season is playing out exactly as expected:

    – The Cardinals are “close enough” to a wild card they probably won’t be sellers
    – The Cardinals are not good enough to be buyers
    – Fedde has destroyed his trade value, Helsley has hurt his
