Every game other than the rainout and the 6.1 and 5 ER clunker against Pit Liberatore has given the team a great chance to win.

A double and triple credited to Walker and Naylor on two plays in which I thought the baseball shouldn’t have come anywhere close to rolling near to the foot of the OF wall. Can’t really tag either one of the OF’ers with an E, but I’d have to say both were game changing misplays that could be directly attributed to 2 inferior oven mitts.

The way I saw it was both defensive plays were terrible by Victor Scott. Walker was right to dive for that ball. It’s on him that he didn’t get it. But Victor should have backed him up and didn’t. It took forever for Victor to run over and get that ball making it a triple. If he backs Walker up that’s still probably a single and worst case a double. Then, that was Scott’s pop up to catch since he was coming in on it. He should have called the others off.

On the flip side Gray has one loss and two losses saved. His run support isn’t lacking.

Scott is overly cautious to his left for good reason.
