Walkers two strike hit to RF is competing well. Good approach.

Walks are killing us tonight. All 3 have scored.

Noot also didn’t field that one into the corner very well. It was like he thought it was foul. Or he just wasn’t sure how the ball was going to bounce around off the wall.

Lots of confidence and positive juju seemed to disappear when Winn struck out last inning in a key situation and tossed his helmet in disgust. He doesn’t look right at all.

Contreras is really leaking oil. Now 0 for 18 on the season and victimized 3 times by the K in tonight’s game.

Winn hasn’t found RF either. This resembles his approach when he debuted.

My first impression is that Winn is pulling off, and early. He’s throwing the barrel at pitches he used an inside-out swing on, last season. He’s not even making contact on most of his left-off swings, because the barrel has already left the zone.

With his talent to inside-out a pitch, regulary, as he did last season, he has proven he can let pitches get extremely deep. My eyes and his swing finishes, say he’s looking to pounce on inside pitches. I may be wrong too.

Cardinal pitching has surrendered only 15 hits through 36 innings to start the 2025 campaign.

How’s about an early season walk-off tater?

My best guess is that Ron Washington is not currently situated in his favorite spot in this world…

I abhor these xtra inning rules. It’s stupid beyond belief.

I thought they had the force at 3B.

I don’t like that intentional walk. Do not give Trout the opportunity to take an AB

Two Angel runs on no hits……ouch. Well let’s plate 3 runs on just one hit for the win.

A couple of questionable throws by Donny already. He had one in LF too.

Yeah, the force at HP was nonexistent from the time the baseball was put into play. Bad decision by the 2B’man.

Well first loss of the year. Angels had 5 runs on 4 hits while the Cards have 4 runs on 11 hits. Should have won that game but some Mikolas should not have went out for another inning and Donovan shouldn’t have thrown home. I don’t know how they didn’t remember what they finally learned with Mikolas. I don’t care if it has thrown 18 pitches getting each batter out on 1 pitch, he should never be allowed to pitch to the 3rd time to through the order.

Winn got his inside pitch and chased it beyond the strike zone. Anticipatings worst case, they’re not all strikes.

If the battery doesn’t give them the run in the third, we win it in 9. Leadoff walk, SB, grounder gets him to third, sac fly.

Angels scored 1 run as a result of placing the extra inning make believe runner at 2B. All 4 of the other Angel runs were the result of BB’s that came around to score. I’d sometimes rather place it on a tee and allow the opposition to hit it a mile than to hand them over a BB.

Until tonight I’d never heard the term, “Smallest full capacity crowd” and it sounds like what I’d term a pretty good example of a contradictory statement. I’m still not entirely sure what it means, but I’m guessing that the definitive meaning would simply be, 21,206…Haha! Billy Jr. don’t like that!
