Not sure we score that 6th run if anyone else was running.

I think Oli missed a move there.

Carp goes down swinging. I really think they needed Gorman to score there, we’ll see.

Was thinking the same thing, Euro Dandy. Would like to see the replay on that Arenado hit…..excuse me….error…..to see if Gorman had a legitimate chance to score on the play.

Gallegos whiffs the first 2 Dodgers he faces. But LA has the luxury of sending Gavin Lux to the dish here…..unbelievable stroke of bad luck as down 2 strikes, Lux squibbs a little nubber to SS that Crawford has to put in his hip pocket.

Pitching to Betts here??…..I think I’d contemplate very seriously about walking him here…..I think it’s the safe bet. On 3-2 he walks…..but it was not intentional.

Ohtani pops out to Crawford…..ballgame baby!

Pugs, I think the scorekeeper has anything hit Muncy’s way on auto-score for an E5.

Good win! Got to hand it to Gallegos vs. best in the league. Should be a confidence builder.

Ha! Yeah he has something against Muncy, Euro. You just have to believe that he or his supervisor will go back and revisit that error filled ruling tonight…..and award Arenado a base hit.

Gio gets it done. Even though he walked Betts after getting ahead, I thought he pitched him well. Just like I wanted him too, haha. Live to face Ohtani.

I also told Helsley to bury the pitch that Muncy hit to tie the game, but he didn’t listen. It was too good for 1-2. Hopefully he’ll feel my vibes next time. 😉

Shady couldn’t have said it any better himself, JJ. Hey where is that rascallion……you’d think he’d be on these game threads. I’m thinking the odds are 8:5. that a suspension of some sort may be involved.

Split series generally have all the appeal of kissing your sister…..but a split in this particular series would be like kissing Cheryl Tiegs…..oops am I showing my age here? I just can’t think of a modern day hottie right now…..help anyone?

Taylor Swift is the only young woman’s name I can think of.Is she hot? I owe Burleson apology. Ive been pretty harsh about his defense. I’m still skeptical.

Burleson had a good game. In the field and at the plate. (Home plate and also probably at his dinner plate):

We earned an unofficial quality start from Lance and Libby (6 IP, 2 ER) vs a top shelf lineup. Lance with a GmSc of 58, with 50 being each pitchers starting point (50/50).

I thought Libby struck out Ohtani for the second out of the 5th. He didn’t get the call, vs a superstar at home, and it lead to two runs.

I guess the crazy people who stayed up all night saw a good game. I have a few observations based upon not actually watching the game, but I did listen on KMOX until the tarp came out.

Burly had a good game with the bat, glove and arm. Good for him. Now OlliMo will sit him out so as to not risk momentum, which has been found to not exist anyway.

Lance did exactly what he was hired to do, cut a bit short by the rain delay. Zero runs constitutes keeping us in it. Contrast to what we have seen from the holdover starters. Well done Mo – so far.

We need to figure out relief options that involve less walks and less traffic generally. There are some new people to look at in leverage roles.

I somehow have the impression Donovan’s arm is not 100% yet. Any observations on that?

They won one. Easter miracles do happen. It’s a long season, and they have to figure out how to get their #3 starter beyond the fourth inning. Another blown save, which happened so often last year. Thank goodness the Dodgers chocked one away. It happens to the best of them.

They could try not having the tarp come out for 45 minutes in the top of the fifth.
