For the second year in a row, Gray is not 100% opening the season. Interesting how he kept quiet about it until he was shelled every time out this spring… But hey, if it is no longer an issue, then what is the problem?

The cynic in me wonders if this is why he didn’t want a trade. A new team would be really upset if they acquired damaged goods. And if it was disclosed to prospective teams, who would want to take the risk on him?

That does sound like too convenient of timing to announce given he has been getting clobbered. We will cross our fingers and hope it is accurate he is fully healthy again. He has 6 days to get ready unless they put him on the IL to start the season.

Now we also learn that Gray has been ill, but one would think not over the entire last month.

Good questions on Gray. What is the summary on that Wetherholt news? Is it where he will start the year.

Wetherholt will start in Springfield this year.

For subscribers, I posted several previews of how the minor league position players are stacking up by team. That included JJ to Springfield days before it was confirmed by Mo yesterday.
