Why would anyone think Marmol is the worst manager in baseball? I saw nothing last year that would indicate it.
I have wondered the same thing GC. It is a real head scratcher.
I thought he was much more aware of things during the game and more involved than Matheny or Schildt. If he had the talent needed he could win the WS. I think we have one of the worst front offices in baseball.

A few teams besides the Astros had the talent this year and none of them won the WS. I would say if the team had the talent to be competitive in post season we wouldn’t get our head handed to us right out of the box by a team that does. That being said, Marmol didn’t do much to help, especially in that first game, but neither did the so called big bats.
