This year, we will again have one thread per week for regular season minor league games, running Tuesday through Sunday.
Tue 4/5: Memphis vs. Gwinnett, 7:05 pm CT, Mem starter TBA

A little disapointed in the placements. Not one position player is starting higher than I would have had them penciled in in the off season. Lott was iffy for Spfld só he night be the only one. Pitchers is probably the same but not as familiar with them só I can be as sure.
Fletcher not making PB is really disapointing.
RHP T.J. Zeuch draws the Opening Day start for Memphis tonight at AutoZone Park opposite Braves prospect LHP Kyle Muller.
LHP Matthew Liberatore will start for Memphis tomorrow at 12:05 PM.
Do people remember how bad the won loss Record of our system was last year? One of the Wiest ever. Will this year be different?
Perez starting for Springfield is a surprise. I’d guess Spangenburger got his AAA spot. Zeuch has 7 Ks so far. Everything is down that he throws.
Memphis should do OKish. The rest I think will be pretty bad, but it would be hard to be that bad again.
I think prospects like Baker should play every day. He’d be my DH and play a little first. Barring injuries, I’ve never been in favor of playing non prospects. I think Memphis has a chance to have a strong lineup with good pitching.
I was disappointed that Darlin Moquete didn’t make Palm Beach out of camp. He had two hits today down in Jupiter. Great numbers in the minors, even tho they were rookie league and DSL. Maybe he will get called up if he continues to do well at extended spring training. Injuries do happen!
The sheer number of pitchers on each of the 4 teams rosters is amazing, and would seem problematic for getting enough innings for everyone. Are these rosters set in stone, or are there players that will be put on injured lists?
There are IL moves coming at every level. I have some, but not all. Will share when I get them. Yes, the extended spring training players are candidates for openings in Palm Beach.

None of the 5 pitchers used by Memphis was by the Cardinals. 4 of the 5 came from other organizations. 3 of 5 have Major league experience.
Burleson just seems like our future DH. Yepez could be too. It’s good to have some talented hitting prospects in the pipeline.
Milb’s stats calculator hás a glitch. It shows Donovan with a single in 4 PA and a .500 OPS and DeLuzio with a single in 3 PA and an OPS of .667.
