Does anyone know a source for DSL player stats. In yesterday’s game they played 6 players hitting over 300 and 3 with OPS of more than 1.000. Luna in limited play is over .400 with OPS of 1.577.
what a relief from Mo’s quantity over quality

cardsfan64ParticipantMaybe no International signings in 2027! Not sure if they will resume after a contract is settled on or not.
The 2026–27 international signing period is not expected to take place, according to multiple industry sources.

August 21, 2026 at 8:24 pm #316789In a lockout, expense gets managed especially tightly. Not including scouting costs, each team can save $6-8 million in cash for signing bonuses right away in 2027. It is sad but not surprising.
August 21, 2026 at 8:46 pm #316799If the owners get their way as well for the international draft with a minimum age of 18, then next year their wouldn’t be any draft/signings either most likely to account for that gap year of upping the age requirement.

cardsfan64ParticipantI asked:
I still haven’t seen anything from the Cardinals about signing Johel Peña (see above).
Brian’s response:
It is highly likely that the delay is due to the required background and drug testing. If he fails, he was never officially signed.
Since he has never been announced, may we assume that the signing is either delayed or won’t happen? I remember the publicized “signing” of Luis Manuel León back in 2023 that never happened, and he signed in 2024 with the Marlins.

cardsfan64ParticipantAnother signing lined up for 2028! (if we don’t have a draft by then!)
SOURCE: Christian Gonzales reached a pre-agreement with St. Louis for a $1.9M bonus 💰
Position: 3B⁰Agent: Chiqui Mejía⁰Hometown: Matanzas, Cuba⁰Class: 2028
He has plus power that, at just 15 years old, would allow him to compete in a Home Run Derby. pic.twitter.com/YTFrWzwNNw
