When the Yanks come back from down 3 games, Bader will be a lock for postseason MVP.

EuroDandy…Funny things happen in baseball. Houston was my pick at around the midway point in the regular season to win it all, but I wouldn’t mind at all seeing the Yankees reel off 4 in a row. I’d have fun watching it.

Seems like the Astros have made the Yankees pay for every E or BB in this ALCS.

It does seem like the Yanks keep shooting themselves in the foot. I want the Yankees to win tonight, not because I want the Yankees to win, but because I’d like to see another ALCS game.

Haha…Yeah, if the Yankees lose tonight, no baseball until Friday. I’ll have to keep busy fighting leaves all week if it doesn’t rain.

Yankees down to their final 3 outs.

Daughter and 7-month-old granddaughter came today for a several-day visit. I guess I don’t really need baseball for a few days. Daughter doesn’t let the grandbaby see a lighted monitor. I guess the current pediatric thinking is that babies should not look at screens for many months. Wife sat down in the family room to rock the baby to sleep for the night and asked me to mute the TV. That didn’t work as grandbaby kept turning her head 180 degrees to watch the game. I think she likes baseball.

EuroDandy…Of course she does…There’s no such thing as a little one who doesn’t like a round ball that they can throw and catch or a stick that they can hit things with! Haha!

Well, that’s that. Astros haven’t lost a post-season game in ’22. I genuinely believe they stand a chance at running the table, but I’m going to say Houston over Philly in 5 games in the ’22 WS.

Well the one team out of all the teams I definitely didn’t want to win is going to world series. I’ll pull for the Phillies only because I hate the stros that much. Bader had a great post season, I definitely think he’s earned a spot with the Yankees next season. Yankees need to get some better pitching though judge needs to come up better in post season.

1982willie…I’ll be happy to see the Phillies pull off an upset. It would be fun to watch, but Houston simply looks too good. In any event, they have to play the games. If I knew what was going to happen, I certainly wouldn’t bother watching.

Maybe Goldy, Arenado, & Judge can go hang out with Harper, Hoskins, & Schwarber this winter after the World Series.

Pena in his rookie season wins the ALCS MVP. Not a bad way to get out of the gate.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned in this thread, but Pena’s dad is Geronimo Pena, a Cardinal for several years.

EuroDandy…Harper especially. During the AB that he hit the game winning 2 run HR, he fouled off a couple of pitches prior to tatering up. The rips he took at those two pitches somehow told me he was going to do something to change the outcome of that ballgame. You could just tell he was locked into that high stakes AB.

EuroDandy…Yep, he was the Redbird 2B’man in the early 90’s.
