These games sometimes take on the look of reruns of that Rod Serling show.

I like Donovans approach to the game… I thought coming into the season.. he’d have a chance to hit 300.

They need to move Gorman out of the third spot.

1toughdominican- the Twilight Zone. At least Serling had a creative mind… this team is being Managed by Elmer Fudd.

CRS4Ever, you might see them at games. BDW and his vendors could capitalize by selling official versions for another game day revenue stream.

What a concept by Megill? Don’t give many hits, and no walks. If you give up a dinger, make sure the bases are empty. Manage your pitch count.
Why doesn’t our pitching coach teach this stuff?

BrockLou… I think that approach is only made possible against our hitting approach.

Euro – that’s about the only thing I’d buy from this team right now!

With his 4.24 era, Leonnne would still fit right in with our current BP.

Vogelbach’s big fly should have had a stewardess on it!

I wonder if Marmol will send Contreras?

Marmol will probably bench Carlson for not making more of an effort to get out of the way..

Unless they comeback to win this game, the Cardinals will be 2-11 for the month of June. Comes a point to which something’s no longer sustainable. In many states there are laws that impose punishment for failure to render assistance. Before too long, those laws may apply to the Redbird bosses…

Perfect example to how are season has gone. 2 on 1 out… need a big hit and here’s the pitch… ground ball 6-4-3 DP..

Seriously, how much more of this has to happen before a head or two rolls?

I’ve worked through several periods of bad Cardinal baseball in the minute or two that I’ve been following my favorite team. Those times are never pleasant, but if you watch closely you can always find something interesting and hopefully learn a little something. This season I’ve learned something that’s difficult to master, but I’m getting pretty good at it. I’ve learned to “get punched in the face” and then be “patient” with the entire unpleasant experience. It’s not easy…I should probably, “at some point just strap it on and go”…But I won’t. The way I see it, I’ve been watching this team a lot longer than Johnny or the Redbird manager has, so I think I’m entitled to stick around.

We struck out 11 times. We got the all once and the nothing 11 times. Who came up with that approach?

2 hours and 1 minute is wrong…This game was decided in the 1st inning.

BrockLou… I think that approach is only made possible against our hitting approach.

You might have a point. Before today he had issued 35 free passes, and his ERA was over 5.00. Now he’s suddenly a Cy Young wannabe.

On the sunny side, I’m close to being entirely convinced that both Gorman and Walker come with Big League calibre bats that will generate nice production for years to come. We’ve all seen the oven mitt on Walker’s glove hand, but they can hide him out there in LF and hopefully he’ll prove to be serviceable out there before too long. At any rate, they’re two young guys who seem to rip it pretty well and I’ve said before that I think Gorman has a decent chance to tater-up close to 40 times in a season before he’s done. Hopefully the Redbirds will have a field manager next season and beyond that has the ability to deploy these two guys in a manner that allows them to realize their potential.

You sure about the 1st inning, 1td? Maybe the game was decided when Oli asked for a copy of the roster so he could make out the lineup.

Check that, Oli probably isn’t trusted with that kind of authority, amazing though he is.

You gotta laugh, cry, or do something else. A couple of good CWS games today. Florida and Virginia are now going to the 9th inning in a one run game.

The Reds are leading Houston 2-0 in the last of the 8th at the Astrodome.

Milwaukee now leads the Pirates 5-4 in the last of the 7th at County Stadium.

No word on Front Row Amy because it’s that shit’nass Apple TV game.
