That OF defensive lineup looks like a Maalox special.

Not the best for sure, but thankfully it’s not this. Also, I never noticed before, but check out the LAD bullpen yukking it up after Ozuna nailed the dismount and stuck the landing. They got a bigger kick out of Ozuna’s gymnastics display than some of us did.

Me and Whitey Herdog will be on the couch tonight and tuning in for this one. Along with a couple 7×50 Dominican cigars and some grape koolaid.

I look for Goldschmidt to get off the schneid tonight and crush a big dong to LF that will pave the way for a 7-3 St. Louis win in this one.

And I sort of agree with BikeMike – if the Redbirds fail in this one we might have a new manager vs the Reds on Friday night. I’ll be standing by my phone for a call just in case.

That guy in the Dodger’s BP thought that was pretty funny…I thought it was real funny!

Laugh if you want, but when is the last time a Cardinal outfielder got back to the wall before the ball did?

Excellent point, Bling…And it just goes to show ya’ that only a GG LF’er could have made that play. You could look it up.

You’re missing a key point bling. With our recent pitchers, the missiles get to the wall a lot quicker.

The worst part is that even if he had caught the ball he would have had to roll it back into the infield. I would like to speak to the person on our staff who approved his medical when that trade was made, assuming one was done.

gscottar, I’m sure a physical was done, but the Doc didn’t want to get fired for philosophical differences.

This team is as good as the air quality in the northeast today.

Jack has the ability to have a few clean innings, so maybe he will and we will get out to a lead. Let’s hope somebody got all the nerf noodles out of the bat rack.

So much for the clean inning thing.

A Walker-Edman collision is not a way you want to see Newton’s laws of motion play out.

It had to be a little unsettling and difficult for a Redbird SS to retain his focus on the baseball every time it was lifted into shallow LF as he was going back knowing there was the genuine possibilty he could be flattened by a charging tank in the person of Matt Holiday. He must of felt like a wideout coming across the middle knowing Kenny Houston was lurking…

Arenado made a bad decision trying to get to third there. With one out maybe worth risk, not with two outs. This pitcher of theirs, Gray, is really good. I like his stuff.

Agreed willie. Making the third out at third base is bad baseball. Not fundamentally sound.

A K w/a man on 2B and no outs is bad baseball also.

Now walker tries to steal before pitcher throws and he gets picked off

I don’t think he was trying to strike out.

It is amazing how many ways we can find to lose games.

They look like they may invent a few new ones. Sometimes I think to myself we’re safe because this or that isn’t possible with what is then the current game situation, but then I second guess myself…

I can just hear the scouts…”Yeah, he can play CF too.”

5 walks isn’t good, but glad to see Jack put up some zeroes. Unfortunately, a guy many of us liked more than Matz a couple years ago that would have cost us Dewitt’s couch change more…is also shutting our offense down.

Burly taters up. A solo of course.
