Walker hit that baseball good and the RF’er had to sprint a long way to get to it, so I hve no problem with that being scored a triple. But it did hit him right the oven mitt…I would’a had it…Haha!

TD would have caught that ball blindfolded.

With 2 down and a runner at 1st, Verhagen gets yanked and here comes JoJo.

And on the very first pitch JoJo induces a comebacker to end the inning. Still 7-5 Good Guys.

This game is the last one I’ll be watching. We’re pulling the plug on cable effective tomorrow. Maybe I will look into streaming games somehow next year, depending on how many obstacles MLB puts in the way. I’m not going to jump through hoops to buy their product. Meanwhile, I will probably tune in on the radio.

Zachary Sheridan Neal pitching for the A’s here in the bottom of the 8th.
With one out he does what the other A’s relievers have prolifically done in this ballgame…..he issues a free pass. This one to Goldy who has now reached base in all 5 of his plate appearances here this evening. With 2 out Knizner singles to center, setting the stage for O’Neill, who has walked 3 times tonight. Tyler strikes out swinging.

Geesh hopefully you’ll still be here on game threads, Bling. Listening to baseball games on the radio is still fantastic.

JoJo pitching the 9th and Allen hits a little tapper to the 3rd base side of the mound where JoJo gloves it, but then makes an errant throw to 1st and that opens the door a bit for the A’s.

    Ruiz strikes out

Gelof strikes out deep sea fishing for one in the dirt.

Brown grounds out to Edman at short who made a dandy backhand on a ball ticketed to left-center field.

    Your fantastic final score:

    St. Louis Cardinals 7
    Oakland Athletics 5

It seems like Romeo has moved ahead of Gallegos in the pecking order.

Baker shure looks horrible at the plate. Did they send us his stunt double?

Walker and the Cardinals caught a break last night when the A’s RF muffed that “triple”. I am not saying it was an easy play but it should have been caught.

Yes, it was almost like seeing Walker hit the ball to himself…..

What’s with bad RF defense and last place teams? Its like its correlated.
