Winn’s promotion to the Big Leagues will occur late enough in August to still retain rookie status in ’24.
Pure dumbassery right there. Lose a month of big league experience and evaluation over a meaningless award.
Team needs to see what he can do and get hi every at-bat possible.

Haha!…Yeah, maybe. He’ll be promoted sometime in mid August so he won’t be on the Big League roster for more than 45 days prior to season’s end. Moreover, the way I understand the arrangement, is if he’s somehow awarded the ’24 NL ROY, the Redbirds receive a little perk in the form of a bonus amatuer draft selection. They don’t want to take the chance of missing out on that…Haha!
