A majority of managers wear a pullover or hoodie. That has been a thing for sometime now. I don’t like it either but probably not our biggest problem.
Regarding that play at HP, I don’t like that scoop and toss with the mitt move unless it’s absolutely neccessary and it looked like there was plenty of time to get the force out without resorting to that glove toss being up high enough to pull the C’s foot off the plate.
Cardinals kind of melted down in the 7th. They’re are not even good at executing a replay challenge. Marmol too late with the call, then gives the ump a bunch of grief. Call at the plate would’ve been overturned. Marmol needs to hustle on these challenges! Maybe Mo will call out Marmol in the press tonight and bench him next game in favor of McEwing.

It’s fairly apparent the Cardinals upper mgmt. , owners have gone woke signaling a general decline. This is showing in team morale and will to win.
ZTR, not sure if you’re kidding, but I don’t think Maddon would ever work for Mo. And Mo would never hire him. Maddon said he didn’t like being a middle man in LA having to manage by doing what the front office told him. Here’s a quote:

At what point in the season is being 10 games out of 1st place cause for concern? If MIL wins at AZ, the Cardinals will be half way to that undesirable neighborhood. In any event, they currently have a firm grip on last place in what’s been rumored to be a weak division.

Oli was also probably mentally hustling at the speed of light, creating a clock discrepancy due to the relativity phenomenon of time dilation. Oli most likely had plenty of time to spare with his replay request. Umps don’t know squat about theoretical physics.
