    Hasn’t the AL won the vast majority of the all-star games the past 25 years or so?

    They sure have, ZTR. But unfortunately, we’ve nearly reached the “who really cares” juncture that the NFL pro-bowl game finds itself perceived. These guys(commissioners) obviously don’t get it. Surprise surprise…. people like to watch competitions where the combatants actually care about winning. It’s so simple, but so overlooked by so many supposedly intelligent people.

    I enjoyed the game. They had the pitcher miked up one inning that was awesome. Smoltz was calling his pitches.

    Money has taken down the level of play. I think the players enjoy it, but they aren’t going to hurt themselves. Has it’s fun moments. Way better than the Pro Bowl. Understand that one for sure. I’m with bicyclemike. Get this second half started. Bored already.
