Also BSSO and BSSW+If we can get 5 innings out of Matz with him not giving up more than 3 runs I would take it and be ecstatic.
Tough break last night as the Brewers were down to their last strike in the last of the 10th against Colorado. Then Renfroe slugs a two out, two strike, two run homer to tie the game 5-5.
Then in the top of the 12th the Rockies got a bad call on a review of a play at 3rdbase. The umpire called him out and the replay clearly showed he was safe. After the challenge the out call was upheld. The Rockies announcers couldn’t believe it.
The Dodgers did us a favor last night. Bellinger nails a two out grand slam in the last of the 8th and the Dodgers down the Giants 5-1. And the Cubs also did us a favor with a 15-2 thrashing of the Phillies at Connie Mack Stadium.
Anyway, we need to win these next two games at Crosley Field. Hopefully as gscottar mentioned we can get a good outing from Matz. We are going to need him if we are going to make a run at the division.

Well finally the return of Matz. Hope he quickly returns to form but doesn’t overdo it. Read Waino claims bad ju-ju at Cincinnati’s park. Could be , it was big time Indian country in the early days.
May need to walk the park projecting some positive vibes next time before pitching.
I submit Cincinnati is not a pushover right now. Recently swept the Rays and won a series against the Yankees

Well I just tuned in to see goldy get a hit, driving in a run, then arenado doubling so we had two runs in, runners at second and third, no outs and Albert up and then three straight dud at bats. I’m blaming albert there. He swings at first pitch which was a low strike, pounds it into ground to third. He’s been around too long for that. Got to try to get minor to elevate the ball.
Shame not to profit from the loaded bases. Sosa contributed his second K of the day. But the bats seem alive tonight. Let’s keep it up.
