Fernandez came in cold. When you start bringing in batter specific pitchers you take the chance a guys gonna come in cold. Time to get some more runs!
The shopping list better include another relief pitcher for high leverage situations….though their scouting of relievers is shaky at best
Like last night, I think an extra insurance run would be nice with Gallegos on the mound. His pace kills my nerves.

What a poor inning from Gallegos. If only Marmol could’ve seen it coming like the majority of Cards fans did. Keep him off the mound in the 9th!
If only they hadn’t futzed around with Hicks in yesterday’s game, he could have come in and gotten us out of this mess.
I fail to understand why helsley couldn’t go. Unless he said so himself. Only 13 pitches yesterday. Gallegos I believe threw far more yesterday.
I just lowered my head when I saw they were gonna send Gallegos out for the 9th! How can the manager, who is right there and sees it so closely not feel it too! It’s ridiculous! Just flat have this game away!
It might be time to take the training wheels off of Helsley and have him pitch in back to back games.
