    Bottom of 2.

Bader first pitch swinging, flies out to Yaz Jr. in center.

Sosa on 3-2 is caught looking on one that looked a titch low…..2 down.

Edman strikes out swinging on some Rodon hot mustard. Both Waino & Rodon have now thrown 31 pitches thru 2 complete.

Just caught the first inning.Wow thats a great start. Looks like Radon finally got his motor going. Waino’s looking good tonight. Curves really dropping in there. Great picture on ESPN. Feel like a real person watching this one. Didn’t know they had “philisophical” differences in baseball. Like what is the meaning of life? Sone of those ERAs are deceptive. Most of those relief guys have very few innings.Probably saving Woodford for later.
Din-din was a trip to Zaxbys for Cobb Salads with fried chicken and traditional wings.Yum-yum. Go Cardinals!

Waino keeps the Giants off the scoreboard again in the 3rd, as his pitch count now sits at 54.

Dandy din-din, Wooster! And a shout-out to the esteemed Rat and his pooch, WhiteyHerDog, as both are feeling a bit under the weather this evening……get better you two!

    Bottom of 3.

Goldy sends a short fly into right…..Wade coming in….in…..dives and it bounces off his glove and Goldy will check into 2nd with a most gratuitous double.

Arenado lofts a fly down the line in left…. Crawford goes out from his position at short as Gonzalez races in from left and it’s Gonzalez sprawling out on the turf in foul territory to make a very nice catch.

Pez walks and this Pez fellow knows how to get on base doesn’t he?

Albert lines a shot to center for a base hit and in comes Goldy with Cardinal run #5….but they’re going to nail Pez by a country…..make that two country miles trying to go to 3rd on the play.

Yadi grounds out to Longoria at 3rd (5-4) to retire the side

Looks like they taught Yepez to run the bases too aggressively. Apparently this is coming from Mo since this has been there Modus Operandi since the Matheny era.

Waino sets the Giants down in one pretty little chorus line here in the 4th…..1-2-3 they go….Waino now at 68 pitches.

Looks like it, Jeff. Pez sure knows how to get on base, but staying on them safely may be another matter. He’ll learn quickly though.

    Bottom of 4

Carlson lofts a short soft fly to left that will fall in there for a hit.

Bader raps it hard on the ground to Longoria at third, he’ll go to 2nd for one, but the throw to Belt at 1st will not be in time to erase the speedy Redbird center fielder.

Bader swipes 2nd, his 8th successful theft on the year.

Sosa smokes a liner to left and this may result in a contentious play at the plate…..nope, Gonzalez’ throw home won’t get his man as Bader easily scores and the Birds tack on another tally making it 6-0.

Edman pops it up on the infield and the 1st baseman Belt will catch it while almost hugging the baserunner Sosa directly on the bag….2 out.

Goldy lines it down the line in right and he’ll have extra bases…..Sosa is rounding 3rd with aspirations for more…..the throw won’t get him and it’s 7-0 Cards…..boy I thought the throw had Sosa nailed, but he was able to evade the Bart tag at home plate…..and Rodon had thrown his last pitch tonight as the dugout powers to be are coming out to yank him out.

    Littell on in relief.

Arenado hits a long one to left …. it’s long enough but is it fair enough…..yes! Homer….9-0 St. Louis.

Yepez…..thar she…..no…..hit deep to left but the ballpark is going hold onto this one….boy when that left his bat, it had HOMER written in bold print all over it

Since this victory is in the bank and drawing interest, I’ll give you guys a break and cease with the PBP. Go Cards!

Sweet little din-din, Bling. Love the cheese on the toothpicks and the grape hehi-chocolate milk combo.

Too bad Woody was sent down, he could have gotten in a couple innings later on.

Rat’s 2021 NL MVP prediction, Joc Pederson, lines a 2-run shot to right that will inch the Giants closer….but they are still miles apart on the scoreboard by the count of 11-2.

On May 7 at Sat game in SF the Giants beat us 13-7 . Its payback Pugs- in sports you never let up till its done. Bling I looked up Woodford stats this year and they were not too good. Like 3 er for 10 innings. 6 so and 10 walks in 10 innings- something like that. Not real good. May need some more time to develop- Packy too. Its a big step up to Major Leagues.

The Woodford demotion reminds me of Nootbars. If you are rarely playing it’s likely better for the player to go start in the minors.

Woodford at 2 IP per week needs to go log some starter innings, IF that’s his future role as our SP depth.

13-2 and Cards looking for more……please Oliver …..call off the dogs! No team except the cubbies should have to endure such a shellacking….now Bader with another hit loading the sacks up yet again ….but I’m calling for a dose of compassion from our skipper…..call off the dogs por favor. Sorry Wooster, but I’m a man of true blue compassion…..this madness must stop.
