Yes, seeing how Yepez is doing has to have him considering Gorman

Probably a HR even if Willie Mays had worn #40

Mid and lower tier bullpen is so important in this type of game. When they keep leaking it gets really tough to come back.

We’re in the 8th inning, the Giants still have more runs than hits, and Whitley walks the first three he sees.

The Steven Matz free agent signing might possibly be Mo’s worst FA signing ever.

Dejong (aka Deout) is 2 for 4 to raise his average to .214. Send him down to get right.

Wasn’t able to watch but pitching looks like it was horrible tonight. Matz seems like he’s going to be either on or not, not much inbetween. Hopefully pitching is better tomorrow but let’s keep the bats going. If we can take 3 out of 4 it will be a nice trip to San Francisco.

Well Blackhills, don’t overlook the Brett Cecil & Dexter Fowler signings.

14 hits was good. Couple of our pitchers were not ready. No lobster for them at Fishermans Wharf to night. Day game tomorrow!

4 years for Matz. Ugh…… He should have never gotten more than two years. The guy is a number four starter at best.

2 totally different players and situations. Also Gorman in May did hit a HR tonight but is under .200 and his K% is closer to about 50%. I don’t think they can legitimately say he’s ready to be called up any time soon.
Yepez is much more of a well rounded hitter, even if the ceiling is way lower.

Guys, remember John Tudor in 1985. Wasn’t a real popular signing, especially after he started 1-7 on the year. He finished 21-8 with a 1.93 ERA. And the only reason he didn’t win the Cy Young award that year was because of Doc Gooden’s career year.

So let’s give Matz a chance and see what happens.
