Game is not coming in on my tv, so something is amiss. Looks like it’ll be a boring night watching chic flics with the wifey.

Yea, playing now. I found it on a non HD channel they use for local programming on my cable. I always forget where it is, I think they move it around on me.

I found it also. My on screen guide calls it BSMW He, normally it is on BSMW HD.

Rocket off arenados bat is misplayed by outfielder but Albert can’t capitalize

Waino didn’t look good against reds and isn’t really very sharp tonight. No damage but just seems off.

Well lead off walk finally does waino in here in the third but gets out of it giving up only two runs, could have been more. Let’s get the bats rolling, top of the lineup here.

Waino coasts through the fourth. Would like to see Albert get #682, a two-run shot to put the Cards up 3-2 in the bottom half.

What’s the deal with Carson Kelly? Must be on the IL. He was looking like a star for them at one point.

Gameday looks like Mad Bums throwing mostly curves and cutters. Low to mid 80’s occasionally middle of zone but mostly on the edges. Not going to overpower you. We need to string a couple hits together.

Waino ahead on Smith but then walks him leading off the 6th. Not good.

CBS sports says Kellys riding pine tonight due to slumping. He was IL alot last year.

Thanks Wooster. Waino with another BB. Mound visit by Maddux to give him some encouragement.

The lead off walk comes home to roost, as it seems to do so often. 3-1 DBacks. Waino had the hitter 0 and 2, but it went to 3-2 and then a hit to drive in the run.

    Waino on the ropes.

That would be me 1982willie. I am known for my nearly 100% accuracy on my prognostications. Just ask Pugs. Heck, three years ago I told everyone what was happening in the bottom of the 1st in the NLCS game at Washington 30 minutes before it even happened. And I hit it right on the nose. Go and search for that game thread, you will see. Somebody even said it was spooky.

And Adam gets out of it yielding only one run. Probably if for him although there is not the automatic pinch-hit situation now that the DH is in play, so we will see. If he was to come up in with the pitcher-hits rule, no doubt he would be lifted.

Good call there rats. Unfortunately that’s the only good thing offensively that happened tonight. That’s why I’m against homers. One guy hits one, everybody else wants to join in. We need to get back to hitting line drives.

The game is far more exciting with base runners vs home runs.

Waino at 100 pitches, should be done

Busch is so big theres a lot of field to use to knock base hits. Been reading that some say the ball this year is dead and MLB knows it. States showing average distance league wide with same exit velocity is 10ft less. We have been getting alot of deep hits 10ft or so short of the wall so far.

I think it’s the announcers fault. Every game they went on and on about no home runs. Rediculous. If the Cardinals hadn’t scored a run in a number of games then that’s something you talk about. But I figure they jinxed us. Now McFarlane in, walks a batter, then gives up hit while only getting one out. Just can’t walk guys.

Yep I think they said we have walked 6 so far. A walks like a gift. Don’t even have to get a hit to get on base!

I don’t really know why the league would want to deaden the ball. They are always taking about trying to make game more fun to watch. I could see maybe trying to make teams coach more traditional hitting versus just elevating. But if so, then they should sit all their owners down and explain they want more traditional offense vs changing the ball.
