Din-din today will be chicken fried steak, mac and cheese and cauliflower. Cincy pitchers not giving up any walks and only one hit. The DH is gone but I don’t think I’ve seen anybody bunt yet this year. Lot of zeros today on our box score so far today.
April 24, 2022 at 1:42 pm #183268DH is gone? Pitchers hitting is gone. Jeez man!
April 24, 2022 at 1:43 pm #183269Wow I didn’t know that Waino historically has performed so poorly vs the Reds. He should turn that around this year vs these guys, but thus far today has unfortunately been true to form. A leadoff Pham single had now just been erased compliments of your basic 3-4-3 twin killing.
And Wooster checks in with a pretty fair din-din delight too. My compliments to the chef, Wooster.
April 24, 2022 at 1:50 pm #183270The second time thru the lineup vs Lodolol should bear some serious fruit, but thus far none has been plucked as we mozzy along to the bottom of the 4th inning in the midst of a 3-0 Reds ballgame.
April 24, 2022 at 1:59 pm #183271Yes, it’s time for our bats to wake up.
April 24, 2022 at 2:01 pm #183272And on cue, Carlson leads off with a double!!!
April 24, 2022 at 2:03 pm #183273Not a fan of attempting to bunt with first base free
April 24, 2022 at 2:04 pm #183274Same story for me today. Somehow games in Cincinnati are blacked out in the Nashville market.
Its really great to not get what you paid for…..no wonder so many just do an end run and watch for free.
Trying to do the right thing and pay just gets you screwed.
April 24, 2022 at 2:04 pm #183275Ugh. We wasted a lead off double.
April 24, 2022 at 2:06 pm #183276Starting to look like I got out the electric broom a bit too soon.
April 24, 2022 at 2:10 pm #183277Looks like we’re spinning our wheels today. Road trip getting to our guys? I’m looking for O’Niel to wake back up today. Goldys starting to get some hits now.
April 24, 2022 at 2:20 pm #183278At least we have some good news out of Chicago, gang. With but a scant few minutes remaining, the world champion Milwaukee Bucks are absolutely throttling the Bulls by 22 points. Now if we can only get our Birds flying high too, this will be a very solid Sunday.
April 24, 2022 at 2:21 pm #183279Back-to-back doubles by Goldy & TON get the Cardinals on the board!!!
April 24, 2022 at 2:22 pm #183280Back to back doubles Goldy and O ‘ Niel!
April 24, 2022 at 2:22 pm #183281This Lodolo guy would be a perfect Colorado Rockie. The area where Coors Field is located is commonly referred to as “lower downtown.” And the nickname is “LoDo.” So when you hear “LoDo” in this area it is referring to the part of downtown around Coors Field.
He would be a natural here. Meanwhile back at the ballpark, we finally break through on the Redleg lefty with doubles by Goldy and Ty.
April 24, 2022 at 2:39 pm #183282Tough day for Waino, plus he just can’t get no help/
April 24, 2022 at 2:40 pm #183283Did I see that right, McFarland 2.33 WHIP?
April 24, 2022 at 2:49 pm #183284Yes Bling, that is correct
April 24, 2022 at 2:54 pm #183285Birds now perched at the corners with 2 down in the St. Louis 7th
April 24, 2022 at 2:59 pm #183286Yeah but them birds just ain’t flyin.
April 24, 2022 at 3:19 pm #183287Woody sighting. Well, we have one of the better mop up guys in the league.
April 24, 2022 at 3:30 pm #183289They sure aren’t today, Cardinal In France. Sims on looking for the save here in the 9th, with Cincinnati still maintaining their 4-1 advantage. What?….Euro Dandy just told me that this Sims leads all of baseball in saves here in ’22…..is that right,? Carlson and Sosa both ground out and we’re down to our last out in the person of Yadier Molina.
April 24, 2022 at 3:32 pm #183290You certainly can’t win them all, but we had these guys on the ropes and let them get their first breath of air in 2 weeks. Should have completed the sweep today.
April 24, 2022 at 3:33 pm #183291It would have been nice if Waino had one of those lights out starts. Altogether a disappointing game. But one of those will come along now and then.
April 24, 2022 at 3:33 pm #183292Looks like the offense left town early today.
