Isn’t Cabrera arb eligible this winter? Speaking of that, does Hicks have one more arb year?

Yes and yes. This offseason currently has more Stl arb eligible players than I can ever remember

I’m counting a dozen players having arb salaries for 2023.

Watching the Braves and that roster take us apart last night was sobering to say the least.

I guess some of them will be trade bait. The pricier ones that do not offer much beyond what would be expected from a min wage guy. We have a few of those looking for regular jobs.

Cardianls #4 or 5 starter vs Atlanta #1, and yes Strider is their #1, Fried 2, Wright 3. Quintana kept them in the game, Gorman error didn’t help, the pen I believe has the worst ERA since the all-star break and it showed last night. Pallante wasn’t sharp, but not bad, Stratton wasn’t bad, but the BB’s after 2 quick outs isn’t good and then Oli tried getting a 2nd inning and he put a guy on and then went to Cabrera where things totally imploded. Atlanta is a really good team, but the main difference to me is their pen. It’s been way better than the Cardinals which outside of Helsley and Gio (most of the time) is been pretty poor.

Cards667 that’s pretty much how I saw it too. The hits we did get were all singles. I skipped the 9th when they started Knizer pitching. Not for being impossibly ahead like before. This time for being impossibly behind. They never seem to play well first game back in town and this time we didn’t get a day off either.

Genisis demoted. We are 140-ish days in so he’s over 3.000 now = arb1.
