How can that possibly be ruled a hit? E-4!
August 26, 2022 at 8:14 pm #197790GIDP with a run scored. I’ll call that a push.
August 26, 2022 at 8:18 pm #197791I”‘ll trade the dp. for a run.It’s a start.
August 26, 2022 at 8:19 pm #197792Sure don’t get much of a breather with this Braves line-up.
August 26, 2022 at 8:20 pm #197793Man, Holliday is a beast! Looks like he could still play and hit 40 homers a year.
August 26, 2022 at 8:21 pm #197794Ouch – real bad error by Gorman.
August 26, 2022 at 8:21 pm #197795Aww, man…
August 26, 2022 at 8:25 pm #197796Poor Quint. He induces 2 inning ending GIDP’s and walks off to the dugout trailing 2-1.
August 26, 2022 at 8:43 pm #197797I’ll have to read about the rest of it tomorrow. Good luck.
August 26, 2022 at 8:52 pm #197798Quintana pitching a good game!
August 26, 2022 at 8:52 pm #197799Nice work by Quintana thru 5. Someone with a bat needs to bail out both him and Gorman.
August 26, 2022 at 9:53 pm #197800Them dang Cubs give up a homerun to Tellez in the bottom of the 9th and they are now tied 2-2. Just great, thank you Flubs.
August 26, 2022 at 10:15 pm #197804The lack of a reliable lefty reliever is worrisome. The Cubs are ahead 4-2

ParticipantWell tonight we are just being beaten by a better team at least on this day. Get em tomorrow.
August 26, 2022 at 10:34 pm #197806Brewers lose.
August 26, 2022 at 10:35 pm #197807Knizner to save the day
August 26, 2022 at 10:43 pm #197808Well, I try to look at the positive side of this game…I paid only $3.59 @ gal. for fuel today…
August 26, 2022 at 11:04 pm #197809Where did we go wrong? I’d say when Quinella ran out of gas in the 6th. The pen gave up runs almost every inning after that. Was watching the score on Gameday going up like a pin ball machine. No extra base hits at all tonight.Hope we get it together tomorrow.
Go Cardinals!August 27, 2022 at 4:35 am #197810At least some guys got to pad their stats off the Braves mop up guy.
August 27, 2022 at 6:12 am #197811I don’t believe I’ll watch the replay of this game.

jj-cf-stlParticipantCabrera has lost his swing and miss stuff. Everything is a ball in play now.
In the first half his K/9 was 8.0 vs 144 batters (31 K’s).
In the second half his K/9 has fallen to 0.9 vs 50 batters (one K).He is allowing a 1.025 ops in the second half. His stuff isn’t right, and there is usually a reason for this drastic of change in results.

BABiP against around .200 early and over .300 more recently. But what can be done?

IL and call up Thompson. I’d say Cabrera is hurt, probably shoulder and trying to play through it. Velocity drop, no life on the ball, that’s shoulder pain.

jj-cf-stlParticipantRemember how we maxed out Reyes, Gallegos and Cabrera last season? None are the same this season.
August 27, 2022 at 8:19 am #197840They weren’t even the same in the second half of 2021.
