Good job JoJo
August 23, 2022 at 4:05 pm #197282I thought Molina got that baseball back in the 6th. I know he has 2 this season, but it seems like the last time he tatered-up was at old Shea Stadium in Oct. of ’06…
August 23, 2022 at 4:16 pm #197284Well, at least the HBP turns over the line-up to lead off the 9th with the top of the order.
August 23, 2022 at 4:17 pm #197285Will Molina’s OPS go under .500?
August 23, 2022 at 4:20 pm #197287Made it home for the end. What happened to our offense?
August 23, 2022 at 4:22 pm #197288Oliver…I just looked and he’s at .507 right now. That ain’t too cool.
August 23, 2022 at 4:26 pm #197289Bling…The O’s been taking a nap. Which is what I’m going to do when the last out is recorded in this one if I want to be coherent for the nightcap. Let’s get some runs in this last visitor half!
August 23, 2022 at 4:32 pm #197290Well, the Cardinal offense stiffs Waino once again.
August 23, 2022 at 4:32 pm #197291So nice of the Cards to make the crappy cubs pitchers keep looking like Cy Youngs…
August 23, 2022 at 4:32 pm #197292Well, that was like a strong sedative. Even it up in the nightcap.

ParticipantGuess they have to have a stinker once in awhile. Let’s win the tonight and go on to win 4 out of 5.
August 23, 2022 at 4:39 pm #197295Waino and JoJo both pitched a great game. We pretty much matched what we did last night. 4 to 5 hits and same with walks. No runs except for Albert’s homer last night. What does it mean? We haven’t used as many pitchers as the baby bears. Maybe we’re sneaking up on them. Maybe our offense can’t get a run across? May be best to switch Goldy and Nado right now. Gorman at 5? Kinda wonder about that too. Maybe better next game. Need to open up more space on those other guys.
Go Cardinals!August 23, 2022 at 4:42 pm #197296Oh yeah almost forgot. I believe that increases our notorious ZIPwhoper up to 13!
August 23, 2022 at 5:47 pm #197299Hey Woos: What’s a ZIPwhoper?

jj-cf-stlParticipantTable-setters Noot and Donovan reach base 4 of 8 PA’s, but never reach the plate safely. Timely hitting comes and goes.
Noot and Donovan have batted first and second the last five games we have faced a righty.
They have accumulated a .561 BA (16 for 31) with a 11/3 BB/K and 30 total bases.
Noot too shabby! -
