Let’s go Cards!!!!!!!
August 23, 2022 at 1:02 pm #197232I don’t mind at all seeing Pujols in there vs. a RHP, but I’m just a mindless fan and not a Big League manager. If my job depended on these types of decisions, I’d probaly think it over more carefully…
August 23, 2022 at 1:14 pm #197233Just finished up din-din in time for first pitch, but in fact din-din tonight was breakfast – eggs, bacon, fried potatoes, toast and a lettuce, tomato and feta salad with caesar sauce.
Rah Cardinals! Let’s go get ’em!
August 23, 2022 at 1:28 pm #197235Need Nado to pick us up.
August 23, 2022 at 1:33 pm #197236Did they stop the 7 inning Double Headers?
I kinda liked those.
Ahhh… just looked it up…. yep they did.
August 23, 2022 at 1:54 pm #197238Tscurlo…Those 7 inning DH’er games were used as a way speed up the game for those cardboard cut-out fans. I’m a little surpised that the finals of those games are still present on the books…
August 23, 2022 at 2:01 pm #197239He works out of it. Wainwright could escape a Federal ADX Supermax.
August 23, 2022 at 2:06 pm #197240#STLCards have signed LHP T.J. McFarland to a minor league contract, per the club. He will report to Memphis (AAA). The team waived the 2021 standout recently, and after clearing waivers, he is back with the Cards where he will try to regain his best sinker.

August 23, 2022 at 2:06 pm #197241With his 70th career win last night in his 121st game as #STLCards manager, Oliver Marmol (36-yrs, 51-days) became the youngest manager to reach 70 wins in his first 121 games since Sparky Anderson did at 36-yrs 154-days in 1970 while managing the #Reds , per @EliasSports .

August 23, 2022 at 2:16 pm #197242Thank goodness we didn’t let McFarland get away!
August 23, 2022 at 2:18 pm #197243Gorman with one BLD!
August 23, 2022 at 2:27 pm #197244Oy
August 23, 2022 at 2:29 pm #197245Lot of traffic today for Wainwright.

stlcard25ParticipantThis no name lineup is really getting to Waino, and the no name pitcher is keeping our lineup just enough off balance. Not liking the way this one is going thus far. 2-0 Cubs and still threatening.
August 23, 2022 at 2:34 pm #197247stlcard…Yep, thought he had the DP on Suzuki’s GB RBI base hit. Couldn’t catch a break.
August 23, 2022 at 2:43 pm #197248Shoulda had at least one run with the bases loaded jam. Guess I’ll be quiet about playing RH Albert. Just saw a commercial they’re already selling a Albert lifetime bat with his etched in lifetime numbers
Guess you get a wood burning kit with it for when hes done.August 23, 2022 at 2:43 pm #197249Dejong in the lineup everyday say is becoming a sad joke!
August 23, 2022 at 2:48 pm #197250Steve60…Pretty bad AB after the lead-off double. Big hole in his swing.
August 23, 2022 at 2:49 pm #197251We gotta knock some of these baserunners in. Waino can’t hold us forever.
August 23, 2022 at 2:50 pm #197252We do tend to struggle against no name rookie pitchers.
August 23, 2022 at 2:53 pm #1972531tough, have you ever noticed that every pitcher knows to throw the fastball up and out of the zone and Dejong will swing and miss every time! It’s so sad! We have to sit him! No brainer!
August 23, 2022 at 2:57 pm #197254No one other than Pujols swung the bat too well in last night’s ballgame. Going back to Sunday’s game, the Cardinals have a total of 1 run scored in 14 innings. Top of the order due up in 5th, so maybe the bats will wake up and uncoil.
