Hey, Bikemike…Nice! I’d sure trade places with you. Enjoy the game and…GO REDBIRDS!

The instant I glanced at the line-up card I felt as though I’d taken a strong sedative in order to counter the effects of vodka.

IDK Rat…I haven’t seen Pugs. Have “Whitey Herdog” give it go!

Nice job by Dak to work around the lead-off BB.

3 walks already by Hudson that’s his main problem. Two of them scored.

Two men in scoring position…Dejong and/or O’Neill are gonna need to come through.

Redbirds got burned on a GRD in last night’s game. Hope this one turns out better.

Paul is punched out. This is a huge at bat here for O’Neill…predictably, O’Neill follows suit. Three doubles and a home run among 8 base hits and a walk, and the Cards have only two runs. Terrible sequencing.

We just aren’t seizing these opportunities.

Wonder if Black will keep the baseball in Marquez’ hand and let him work the start of the visitor half of the 6th. He’s at 103. He’s done a pretty good job of keeping the ball at the knees in the zone. Hopefully Black will run him back out there and he’ll run out of steam and elevate something for Redbird hitters to drive. We’ll see what happens.

Haven’t got to watch much but Hudson seemed like he was ok. Got Hicks in there now who has turned it around a little bit. Not as many walks

stlcard…Yeah, that was no good. GRD’s seem to always cost the Cardinals a run, but then I’m biased. That rule needs to be amended to allow the umpires some judgement on whether the baserunner would have scored.

Hey Willie…Yeah, he’s worked a pretty good game, but both Colo. runs have come as a result of BB’s that were pushed across to score. Go figure, right?

Has Hicks been any good in the second inning of any of his outings this year?

The walks. The walks. They’re going to eat us up.

Hey, 64…Haha! Yeah, Molina’s not going to beat out an IF hit unless the entire opposing IF simutaneously suffers a case of spontaneous combustion. I once saw him attempt to score from 1B on a hit laced into the gap by Aaron Miles vs. the Phillies. Rarely have I heard the standing packed house so loud as old “Jetcalves” was motoring around 3B and heading toward HP. He was out, but it was fun to behold!
