Double by Avocado and a sac fly by Nootie. Tied 3-3 heading to the 8th!

And the Pirates have come back to tie the Brewers at Three Rivers Stadium 3-3 heading to the 9th!

How much longer will the suffering continue having to watch DeJug strike out and make errors???

Pirates down the Brewers 5-4 in 10 innings!

We could be tied for 1st at days end. Or we could be two games out.

Cards and Cubs tied 3-3 in the last of the 9th. Arenado and DeJong with one out walks.

This game sure feels like a shutout. Gonna be up to Hudson to keep us from being swept in the DH tonight. My sense is that we go 0-2 today.

Ah, the ole reverse psychology…works a lot. Lol

Don’t tell anybody but Nootys doing great. Sure glad we kept him and Gorman. Donovan too. Go Cardinals!

Well a nice comeback win. The cubs are pretty depleted so it’s not that great to have to scrap to best them but a win is a win.

Hat-tip to Naile for stranding Miles runners. I’d forgotten what effective middle relief looked like.

    The Noot!
