Bought a couple singles for the Reds series in April. Going to go down and get a room for Saturday. Hopefully make time to see the Aquarium.

    From the Cardinals.

Early June Tickets On Sale Friday

The St. Louis Cardinals have announced that single-game tickets for the June weekend series vs. the Cincinnati Reds (June 3-6) and the two-game interleague series vs. the Cleveland Indians (June 8-9) will go on sale to the general public this Friday, May 14, at 12:00 PM CT.

The organization recently received approval from the City of St. Louis to roughly double the capacity at Busch Stadium for the above-mentioned series.

Each of the six games will feature a promotional giveaway, starting with a Cardinals Nolan Arenado Decal from Shelter Insurance on June 3. The giveaways continue with an Adult Mystery Player Road Alternate Blue Jersey courtesy of Old Dominion Freight Line on June 4-6 and a Cardinals Bucket Hat on June 8-9.

A complete description of the early June promotional schedule follows below and at cardinals.com/promotions. Additional ticket details and promotional dates for the second half of June and the remainder of the 2021 season will be announced in the future.

The Reds are going full capacity on Wednesday, June 2nd.

I wonder how many people will still be wearing masks?

The home plate ump for one, Rat. And realistically, all of the batters should too. I don’t think I have ever come close to seeing so many hit batsmen over a two month period…..at all levels. I went to a high school game last week and it was a total beanathon. Batters being plunked with fastballs left and right. Our Birds have that kid in the minors who nailed not one….not two….not three….but four batters in just one inning a couple of weeks ago. And we all know the alarming rate of hit batsmen on the major league level thus far here in ’21. This should not automatically be chalked up as being a fluke. It may well be tied in with the pandemic. Possibly pitchers unleashing pent up frustrations, without even realizing their dirty deeds? Slow reaction times in getting out of harms way by batters, who are mentally not in shape due to the rigors of facing this pandemic for such a long period of time? Who knows?

So it is Labor Day, one of the best teams in baseball will be in town, and Albert is returning. And the Cardinals and the Post-Dispatch team up for a $5.55 ticket offer for the entire Dodgers series… Wow!

Well, I guess $5 is better than $0.

I just happen to be in town the 8th and 9th. Three games two days. Looking forward to the dbl header on the 9th. Haven’t been to one of those since my first Cardinals games in August 1963.

$5.55 — all in celebration of Albert’s return. I bet it was first suggested by somebody as a $5 ticket for Albert’s return, then the brass said great idea, but we can raise it to 5.55 and still say it’s for Albert’s return. The more 5s, the better.

kscard, I’m not seeing a double header on Thursday. You sure about that? Regardless, have fun.

And the good thing about Pugs not being able to make it is he won’t hassle you about Brian’s beer limit for TCN posters — as he’s been known to do.

St Louis – day game, Springfield on way home. Times out pretty good. Will leave St L game at 4. Sad thing is no Yellow Jackets sold at Busch.
