Ah bader, has learned to lay off that outside stuff better but still needs to work on high stuff. I think shildt needs to quit moving bader up, I prefer sosa in that spot especially after last night. I know you have a left hander on the mound but wood isn’t a hard thrower and I think bader hits guys who lean on their fastball more which wood relies on junk.

Walk the first guy. That’s just rediculous.

Watching Oviedo pitch is beyond frrustrating! How can a guy go game after game and not be able to throw strikes?

Well this isn’t going well. Our good starting pitching streak is on the line.

Hopefully Ovi just read the line on his pocket card that says throw strikes.

Well everything that has plagued our pitching this year has happened this inning, almost anyway

Can’t get out of his way really! I worry about this kid! Mentally this has to be a nightmare for him every 5 days!

Three free passes in the 1st inning, including 6th hit batter with bases loaded this year. Could’ve been worse.

Well could have went worse, still may be a short outing for Oviedo.

If Oviedo doesn’t walk em or hit em he can actually get them out!

I’m not sure starting Dejong is a good idea his bat is awful and it appears to be affecting his fielding

Man, we haven’t swept the giants in their stadium since the old candlestick days, 1991. History isn’t on our side.

I think with how arenado is leaving the third base bag, they could have stole third. I know Dejong is trailing but it would have been interesting.

Ovi at 80 pitches thru 4 complete. Yielded just 3 hits, but 4 free passes. The big lug simply isn’t quite ready for prime time yet, but let’s get him a gob of runs and in turn Ovi will get in his 6 frames, with his maiden “W” in tow.

Not sure a Lefthand led pitcher that walks left handed hitters is good

Two walks and a broken bat double. This game could be getting away.

Were the velocities right on this last Giants pitcher? He topped out at like 82 mph? Knuckleballer?

Looks like we walked a lot of guys and never got any offense going.

Whenever Knizner plays and puts up another lame batting line I check on Herrera. Hitting .230 in the Texas League. I know, I know, adjustment, small sample, will play to expectation.

Any idea how CMart hurt his thumb?

Taking the series from the Giants was nice. With the Cubs in a tailspin may be catching them at a time when we can sweep them at their place.

This division is utterly putrid. The Brewers are likely just a little bit above average but when you have the Cubs, Pirates, and Cardinals to play – that can inflate your record.

    On to Chicago.

DeJong got on base a couple of times last night but still looks lost in every phase of the game right now to me, offensively, defensively, everything. I wonder if a trip to Memphis might be good for him to reset himself and get things together. Can he even be sent to Memphis due to his contract or lack of options? If not it might be time for one of those convenient injuries so he can go on a rehab assignment.

Uecker has said the team told him the best way to help the team is let them inject him with hepatitis.

GS, Cots shows DeJong has all three of his options and has accrued less than 5yrs service time (his consent to be demoted would not be necessary).

I know of no reason he couldn’t be demoted, but there may be other reason(s) I’m not aware of.
