Carp was way out of position backing that up. Whats he doing just running around out there?

Well such an awesome play by Dejong. Yea it’s the shift but major leagues make that play. Where is sosa.

Just a soft team that really has no mental toughness. They’ve been backed into a corner the entire month of June and have never come out swinging with any intensity at all.

Martinez needs to throw some unhittable junk and slow this down a little

The Cubs players look like they live in the weightroom. Our little guys look like guys that talk and take it easy. That’s also how they play.

Good point Wooster. What you are doing hasn’t been working for weeks. Try something different.

12 up 12 down. Making errors in the field. Playing the horrid cubs. I just can’t watch. Hopefully they come back while I’m away

Having all our starting pitchers hurt at once really makes me wonder about off season and pre season conditioning. Wonder what all went on ? Seems like not enough?

Funny, but I’m not a bit surprised. Too much time in the video room. Or is it the multi-sensory experience room now.

Would love to see the Redbirds out up a crooked number here. It is time to get something going on offense.

This game is doable so far only 2 runs behind. We could win with a few runs. Time for small ball!

I’d love it, also. I truly don’t think they have it in them. The last 5 years except for one weekend they’ve really been owned by the Cubs. The Redbirds just fold their tents in when they see the boys in blue.

Perfect example right there. Swing the bat! Attack. This team is so soft.

CMart with a good outing tonight. Hope he can hold on another inning or so.

Even with the extra batters DeJong caused, CMart’s pitch count is at 84 after 6 IP. That was a very good inning.
