Man, I would keep Gallegos out there for the ninth. Only 16 pitches so far. Of course Shildt and Co will go with Reyes. But Gallegos has it going on and is in a groove.
It’s great to see Sosa taking advantage of playing time. He was never given a chance to shine until now.
We should end the Moroff experiment. He is a lifetime MLB .180 hitter. I think Rondon has played some outfield, so why don’t we try him.
Nice win. 2 and 4 versus Chicago. Wanted to go at least 3-3 in those games, but the club is kind of banged up so not getting swept was important.

Not bad, Cardinals27. How about “Gantini”? Diamond 💎 sombrero (4-4 whiffs & an error to boot) from Mr. Moroff today. Applicable last name, as he sure is Moroff than Moron….not what I meant….I was trying to say that he’s been More-Off than More-On when getting playing time. He’s young though, so let’s give him some time. Gotta love Cabby. He just continues to get the job done whenever called upon…..all the while drilling an opposing batter or two. I’d love to see Cabby get the call come All Star time. Could you imagine a guy like John Kruk stepping into the box vs Cabby…..not without wearing a full face mask.
Nice to see Cardinal In France and Rat get off the proverbial schneid, with both registering more than acceptable mouth watering din-dins. Beautiful maneuver slipping in that late chocolate sundae today CIF…..right under Mrs. Cardinal In France’s nose…..not an easy task to do I bet. And Rat appears poised in getting back into full swing in the din-din department by gulping down fried foods and dessert today at the famed Gasthof restaurant. A little fried chicken here and a little cherry cobbler there is how it all starts again. Well played, Rat! I bet we see that air fryer clicking on all cylinders by the weekend.
I made it back to the game to see elite player Tommy Edman hit missiles. After last night I had to buy tickets to get back today (considering they were so cheap and I could make it happen). Unfortunately I can no longer wear cards gear to games as it has been deemed too unlucky. Wore a powder blue shirt instead. I will try a New Jersey but if it doesn’t work, I will gladly not wear cards gear to games for the sake of this team and community

The second Tommy Edman home run was hit so hard. The first was such a nice gap shot that was just hit too well for the park to come close to holding it. Loved to see Tommy have a good game
