    Stroman looking locked in right now. He strikes out his 4th and 5th in a row in Carlson and Goldy. Looks like the bullpen will have to be perfect cause the offense may have checked out for the game.

    I would have gone with Whitely with the 3 run lead, and kept Reyes ready. Whitely should be able to protect a 3 run lead. Then you would have Alex available for game 2.

    No we will not see Reyes again tonight. It’s not just the pitch count, but having him go thru the entire warm-up regimen twice, sperated by only a few hours, may be a bit risky with his injury history.

You just can’t go crazy, prognosticating (betting) games that you have no business doing. Like most things, discipline rules
