Two doubles for Arenado?? Sounds like neither was exactly tattooed, but we’ll take the BABIP luck.
April 30, 2021 at 6:45 pm #159717O’Neill homered and made the game 3-0. Nice work, Tyler!
April 30, 2021 at 6:46 pm #159718Man, that jack by O’Neill was crushed!
Good to see Bader back. Thought Williams would make it tough to find playing time, but he really struggled over the last week.
April 30, 2021 at 6:49 pm #159719Tyler O'Neill off RHP JT Brubaker – 112.2 mph, 36 degrees (426 ft Home Run)

April 30, 2021 at 6:53 pm #159720I’m starting not to care about Tylers K’s
April 30, 2021 at 7:03 pm #159721With the Spring he had, O’Neill seems to be putting things together. Need to see how he does with extended playing time. He looks a lot better since coming off the DL.
April 30, 2021 at 7:13 pm #159722Goldy really looks bad at the dish.
April 30, 2021 at 7:17 pm #159723slider away really eating up Goldy
April 30, 2021 at 7:21 pm #159724pull him
April 30, 2021 at 7:21 pm #159725After my nap I see Gant is at 90 pitches with nobody out in the 5th. Yikes.
April 30, 2021 at 7:23 pm #159726I know some do, but I really do not like Gant as a starter. His velocity is way low and he nibbles constantly. He’s playing with fire almost every inning, it seems. Mikolas can’t come back soon enough and move him back to the pen, IMO.
April 30, 2021 at 7:23 pm #159727Two on, nobody out. 5 walks so far. I think maybe its time to get him out.
April 30, 2021 at 7:24 pm #159728Gant now with 20 Ks and 17 walks in his 24 IP. That ratio is gonna burn him eventually, only a matter of time.
April 30, 2021 at 7:26 pm #159729Hopefully he wouldn’t walk so many out of the pen, that is maddening to watch.
April 30, 2021 at 7:26 pm #159730I’d say pull him, again, but it’s Webb warming. It’s clear Gant has lost the zone.
April 30, 2021 at 7:28 pm #159731Shildt is smarter than us I guess. Or luckier. 100 pitches through 5.
April 30, 2021 at 7:31 pm #159732Knizner saved that inning.

No luck whatsoever. They have a terrible LFer, who also can’t run the bases. He rounded 2nd by 12 feet when he was bunted over from first, and easily thrown out.
April 30, 2021 at 7:36 pm #159734probably looking at a Webb, Elledge, Cabrera, Helsley pen tonight, if Shildt follows the usage script again.
tack some runs on boys!April 30, 2021 at 7:39 pm #159735well look who…..AGAIN!
April 30, 2021 at 7:40 pm #159736I much prefer Gant as a bullpen pitcher as well. I wish he could change his mechanics and develop a fluid delivery instead of pitching from the stretch.
I have never favored pitching from the stretch as you have to start everything from ground zero. With a windup your get in motion and throw, which I believe puts less stress on your arm and shoulder and can help your command.
Carp again!!!!
April 30, 2021 at 7:40 pm #1597373 run pinch poke…. Carpenter! 6-1 Good guys
April 30, 2021 at 7:41 pm #159738As was the case yesterday, decorum prevents me from explaining where the flying monkey came from.
April 30, 2021 at 7:44 pm #159739Carpenter has found his special purpose.
Sorry to say he was wincing in the dugout. Along with his smiles.
April 30, 2021 at 7:49 pm #159740Think Mo may be thinking “Carp contract extension”??
